Hi guys,
So one snus I wanted to try from my recent acquisitions was General Wintergreen. I've heard all the negative reviews, but I needed to try it. I've tried both the Offroad Wintergreen portions, lös, long cut and the same for Thunder. I wasn't that keen, but with not a lot else on the market at that time I made do. Then I tried Jakobsson's Wintergreen, and I loved it! I am in the UK, and prior to snusing have no experience of Gaultheria procumbens or 'methyl salicylate' in anything other than maybe germolene and deep heat. From what I gather it's popular in the states.
So I opened up a can (which I bought in person at Snus2, but with an American warning label on!) and took a deep whiff. Nice. Not quite the intensity of aroma of Jakobsson's, but very pleasant nonetheless.
Tastewise - I love it! Instant burn and a lingering wintergreen taste. Not as in-your-face as the Jak's, quite mellower. Now I'm glad I got half a roll of it! Just where on earth i'd be able to get it now though, is beyond me :S
