Strong snus or alternatives

Hello snusers, new here and new to snus but not new to using smokeless bacci, this is my first post so please excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong section.

I have a few questions relating to very strong snus or an alternative.

Being from an Asian background I have used smokeless tobacco for a couple of years, the stuff we use is called naswar (hence the name ) and is very strong compared to snus.Unfortunately the manufacture of naswar is not regulated in any way and the stuff widely available in ethnic shops here in the U.K contains a whole host of harmful additives besides being crap in general as compared to naswar imported from Asia.

I've switched to snus recently but find its not as strong as what I'm used to or would like,the strongest one I've tried so far is Thunder frosted ultra portions, my questions are, would I be better off trying some los Odens extreme or something similar and just baking fat pris to get the kind of strength I'm after or is there something else I could use instead. I've been told that Samuel Gawith black rapee snuff is a good substitute for snus, taking into consideration the fact that it might soon be difficult to get hold of snus in the EU would the above suggestion be a good option, if so would it be good and strong in terms of nicotine hit?

P.S I have tried makla but I reckon I would soon get sick of using that if that is all I had, it's O.K to use occasionally though IMO.

PPS currently using Jakobbsson's melon and whilst it tastes nice its not rocking my world, maybe due to naswar use my tolerance is high,lol.

There's only a few products out that are higher nicotine/gram of tobacco than Thunder. Oden's Extreme as you mentioned, and I think one other is 20 mg/g or higher but I can't think of it.

You could always double barrel the thunder (one portion on each side of the mouth), or maybe find some decent snuff to supplement the snus.

If Thunder isn't cutting it for your nicotine hits, I would suggest trying to bring that down some. Thunder is already a fairly strong snus and relying on something that's higher in nicotine sounds like a bad road to go down. I'm not trying to preach to ya, just giving you my opinion. Force yourself to use some lower nic stuff for awhile or at least rotate it in so your tolerance doesn't just keep climbing.

The Black rapee snuff I was referring to is supposed to be good when used as snus i.e placed in the moth rather than being taken up the nose, do you have any knowledge of people using that or any other moist snuff like snus?

I also hear what your saying about double barrelling, I've thought about using 2 portions at a time but due to the difficulty in obtaining snus i.e having to order from overseas and waiting for UPS man and paying shipping and taxes etc I had second thoughts as I need to make the little that I have last in between orders.

Odens Extreme Lös I think is the way to go for you. Make a fat prilla, and that kick will blow your mind. Not enough? Make a bigger one.

You're btw the first one I've heard of that thinks Thunder Ultra Strong Frosted are to weak in the nicotine department... hahaha, you are crazy man!

i agree it may be a good idea to knock your tolerance down a bit. remember that everything is relative, especially when considering drug use.

You can use African style snuffs orally. NTSU, I have read, is used orally but I have never tried it. It is similar to the grind of Black Rappee, but the NTSU is a little coarser.

Maybe mix some Makla with some loose snus?

I have a low tolerance myself, so thunder kicks my ass most of the time.

Also, if you use snuff nasally it takes a length of time using it before you absorb it efficiently through the nose....in my experience.

Never heard of the Black Rape so I can't comment on that. But some Oden's Extremem or Thunder Frosted Raw loose might work. Just bake up a giant prilla and, if that doens't work, you need help lol. :P

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.

I think I'll be ordering odens extreme los next order might get some more thunder ultra as I quite like the cooling effect it has on the mouth as well as being quite strong, I'll also get a can of the skruf stark los as per Ansel's recommendation.

Anyone ever tried double barrelling two different brands of snus?

I just got through a night shift using 2 melon portions and 1 thunder ultra, I've got another thunder in right now (after morning coffee) that's 4 portions all night, so I suppose that's quite good going i.e not too many.

I find I can keep the Jakobbsson's in much longer than the thunder as the thunder tends to start running much sooner.

Anyhow enough of my rambling and thanks again for the good feedback.

Try the Thunder Berry Blend. It seems to that the nic in that one hits faster that other in the line. I use that as the first snus in morning instead of a cigarette.

Also as other mentioned, try some lös/loose. You deside the size of the prillas and will soon find the right amount that fill you needs. Oden´s and Thunder will properly be the ones for you!

Welcome to the forum mate, as others have said, i'd try and knock your tolerance down a bit...

...or you could try Odens Extreme Lös, AND shove some south african snuff up your nose, if that doesn't do it, i'm lost

The snuffs i'd go with are ... Swedish Match Taxi Red and/or NTSU Black

You really will have to take a pinch of Taxi and shove it up your nose, unless you have lungs like a hoover

Loose snus is the way to go as you can use a bigger pinch to get more satisfaction.

I'm gonna place my order and I'll be getting some odens los, I couldn't find skruf xtra stark los as I think it's been discontinued so I'll get some portions I'll also try some thunder berry blend portions and see how it goes.
