Soooo, just ordered some "new" stuff for tryout, opinions?

Today i made an order on snus to tryout some new stuff and hopefully find something worth going into my daily snus rotation. While i lived in sweden i only had the chance of getting my hands on Swedish Match products since all the rest aint available on local stores whatsoever, but now while im in my homecountry there is no chance on getting those due to the EU snus ban.
Anyway, i did however get my hands on thunder blue(flavour, not great. nicotinewise awesome) and frosted(top notch!) and ended up loving it from day one and having high expectations about other V2 stuff.

I would like you guys to give me an opinion about the following snuses ... What's 'good', what's 'so so' and whats basically crap and not worth buying.

Ive ordered some Thunder Frosted Long portion aswell, but that one im pretty sure is a cracker snus ;P


I know there's tastes for everything, but i feel its always worth it to get some opinions thrown for me to reflect on when trying these things out.

The Thunder you ordered are pretty tasty, also the Phantom classic lös is good. Never had any of the Offroad portions!

Out of those, I've only had the Coola and Berry...and I liked them both.

Flavoured snus is not my thing. I've never tried any of those.

Was not too fond of offroad coola. It had a cola/battery acid taste. It wasn't bad, if i was drowsing of fin class I'd throw one in and because of the strong taste when swallowed it woke me the hell up quickly. Still wasn't a big fan. I would consider throwing some in my next order if it was dirt cheap

Thanks for the replies guys .. I honestly prefer flavoured snus to "regular tobacco'ish" snus. Actually got a bit tired of general products but im still looking forward in getting my hands on some General Onyx someday ;P From all reviews and testemonials that i've been reading it seems really good, but above all i wanna get my hands on some Jakobssons stuff

Thunder Wintergreen Extra Stark - OK taste, wicked nicotine hit.

Thunder Coola Extra Stark - Haven't tried.

Thunder Berry Extra Stark - Really great berry flavor and a medium nicotine hit (my can I bought from Snus2 was 2 months past the expiration date though).

Offroad Frosted Portion - Not tried, but I think it's like Thunder Frosted but in 8 mg.

Offroad White Coola - Pretty tasty stuff actually. I was quite surprised by this.

Offroad White Eucalyptus - Haven't tried.

Phantom Classic Los - I have only tried the Phantom Classic Portion a long time ago, and it was not that great. A lot of people like the lös though.

Thanks for the reply! I've never tried wintergreen.. so i dont really know what to expect of the flavour. I guess some minty greenie kind of flavour? As for the coolas .. i've heard a bit of everything, from the taste being too artificial, to it not being a good match to the tobacco flavour whatsoever, to being freaking fresh and different from everything else on the market, thus, awesome!
As for the phantom .. i actually had the portion (expired) and i didnt really like it that much ... i've only ordered Los because people seem to like it a lot more than the portions. I guess it doesnt hurt to try it out.
Long portion frosted, have a feeling this one is gonna be a part of my regular snusing list.

The only Skruf i've tried was the cranberry one .. Spent 12$ per can while in Norway *cries*. Kinda wanted to try other skrufs though, seem pretty neat

I am not into flavored snus at all but if I had to pick a flavored snus it would be Gotlands Gray Los or Flader. In my opinion, Gotlands seems to taste more natural to me and the tobacco is top notch.

I would try a stark if you are into the Thunders. It's my go-to snus but it's not to everyone's taste.

Thunder Wintergreen Extra Stark One of my "go-to" snus. It's more bitter and metallic than most wintergreen since it doesn't have sweetners in it like other brands' do. Good nic hit, fairly mellow taste compared to other wintergreens. Can get a little bitter after long periods of time, but I love the stuff.

Thunder Coola Extra Stark This tastes like advertised. It really does capture the taste of Cola. However, I did not personally care for this kind of flavor as a snus.

Thunder Berry Extra Stark I tried it, I liked it, but not enough to order large quantities. This is one of my oddballs where I'll throw a random can in a large order for something different.

Offroad Frosted Portion Taste a lot like the Thunder version, but there is a subtle difference.

Offroad White Coola Never tried it, but if my Frosted experience is anything to go by, it probably tastes a lot like the Thunder, but slightly different.

Offroad White Eucalyptus This is another one that I liked, but wouldn't order in large quantities. I think Catch's eucalyptus is better.

Phantom Classic Los Never had it.

Personal tastes vary greatly, so make sure you always take opinions with that in mind. Everyone's palette is different.
