    brown stained (stale?) white portions

I am finding that my portions, I think as they get older, get brown stains from the snus. Sometimes they are all stained. Right now I have a stained LD portion in and it seems ok.. I don't think its too fresh though. Not sure. I guess the test will be the next fresh can of white portions I open. Do you find that stained white portions are stale white portions?

I haven't noticed any quality issues with stained white portions. I've gotten some that were brand new, but stilled stained.

I haven't had any white portions for more than a year now, because I don't like them, but I also remember that they had some stains from the beginning. I think the stains are a good indicator, that you get real snus and not some totally dry crap. I'd even say that the possibility for (new) stains gets lower, when the snus gets older and thereby drier.

      Cheers!

I think its just the moisture in the can causing the tobacco to stain the pouch.

I bought a can of triumph and threw it in the fridge. The next day i opened the can and the white pouches had brown spots on the edges of the pouches. Still tasted great and flavor was never a disappointment.

I think its normal for this to happen with some brands. Doubt you are losing flavor or having a bad portion.
