When I smoked, I used to smoke about a pack every two days. I quit back in 2000, cold turkey. I just hated the idea of filling my already problematic lungs with smoke. About 2 years ago my dad introduced me to swedish snus and I was hooked. The problem is that I like high doses. I started on General Wintergreen White Portions and rather quickly took up using Thunder. At first one Thunder portion was strong enough. Eventually I didn't feel anything and moved up to two Thunders at once.
Cut to now... I've been using 3 Thunders at a time. Not the mini-potions, mind you.
I know you can build up a tolerance to nicotine, but I just don't seem to be getting the buzz anymore. So I've started cutting down to 2 General Wintergreens again.
Am I just too addicted to the buzz and it will just keep taking more and more at a time to get there? Will cutting down the amount at a time slowly weaken the resistance I seem to be having to the nicotine. Lately I've been craving a smoke just for the quick buzz, but I really don't want to go back down that path.
