Yeah, i was looking at that the other day. I'd say about 95% of all snus has some kinda flavour additives in it ... I think they're after flavour additives in tobacco products as a whole, so if it does go through, it will end most snuff as well

Eu just f'ing sucks, if you ban the flavored snus then ban the f'ing flavored cigars too (then it would make some logic) and there are hundreds of brands that come with flavor cigars as well.

It looks like it will be straight/natural/old recipe tobacco and mint/wintergreen only. My guess would be menthol would also be allowed for snuff.

Anyone know what is the reason the EU gives for banning the flavors? The underlying reason is to ban snus, but under what guise is the EU giving? Are they claiming the flavor additives are bad for you or something like that?

I have no idea, but the "It's attractive to kids" shtick is likely.

If it came to flavourings being banned it wouldn't bother me a jot. It woud bother snus producers much more.
I realise that the 'natural' tobacco product still has flavourings. I'm sure there's a way around it. I prefer natural tobacco tastes these days anyhow.

I understand you're saying you don't care for flavored snus, but it SHOULD bother you, because it's tyranny, and that should be troubling. It should bother every single person who values some sense of freedom, whether they're a tobacco user or not.
