Easy to quit snus :D your experience?

So. I am currently in NH and my snus is all in FL...it's been a week of snus...no cravings. I use the ES Thunder portions for the most part.

Anyone else have this experience? I have found it really easy to transition off of them. Nothing like stopping dip.

I can't say it's ever been easy for me. I feel sluggish, sad, irritable and stupid. Even after quitting for weeks on end I miss that lift/kick that nicotine provides.

Some days are easy and some are harder. Actually, the first week was one of the easiest times. It gets harder after a few months. But the craving is pretty much all in the head, because the physical withdrawal symptoms disappear in a few days. I quit for 2 months last year, and I think my 10 cup a/day coffee drinking (as a substitute) made the withdrawal much worse than it really was.

I believe that if you quit that means you've returned to cigs.

I'm passing thru the experience right now. I'm smoking 8-10 gigs and 2 portions a day for the last 2 months.

But....

I know that snus will always be there to rescue my sorry ass.

I quit for about 15 minutes 10 minutes ago. I spit out my Ettan when I was in the shower, and said "That's it!". Then I got in bed, and popped a Taboca portion. That was gravy. I didn't have a bit of trouble going without snus.

I quit for 5 weeks recently. Week 5 was the worst! Stress etc got me and I went back. It's all in the head and mine was constant craving. It sucked.

i go for awhile but have to use the e-cig...but its not the same as snus....if all that was available was camel and marlboro and skoal....im thinking itd jusst be the ecig....

Snusing is a whole lot more than smoking, so I believe that a prilla or two a day won't hurt anyone, keep snusing!
