As much as I hate to say it.

Alas, I was quite happy here in the states to find redman snuff when it first came out and I loved it. Made me feel good when i convinced a buddy of mine to try it and now its all he uses.

Well i was quite happy to try Gotlands Gul as my first Los Snus. And it was ok. Eventually my taste bud grew and i was able to enjoy it in a whole new light.

So i then dipped back in the firdge to my already opened can of General Los. I baked a nice fat pris and put it in. DAMN this was delicious.

I have since just been using General Los because i have noticed in the Los the citrus notes are hardly even detectable but the peppery notes and a lil spice still remain. It just tastes great.

I hate it because i really wanted to try and make gotlands yellow my mainstay snus becuase its made by a smaller company and i think that it is TOP notch snus. Its always moist and ive never had a problem baking it. But for my taste buds its still missing just a little something.

Sucks though....now im back on the crowded general bandwagon.

I like Gotlands, but I could never make it a mainstay. The flavors they use grow old on my tastebuds quite fast. One or two loads in my icetool and the snus goes back to the fridge for another week... or three

I'm gonna come right out and say I like roda lacket.
It baked nice and solid, help up well, and by 20 minutes i started getting a real familiar flavor. The nic is a smooth ride that melted through me and gave me that "ahh" satisfaction. Snus provides such a warmer creep of a nic hit compared to ciggs. And the plateu is sensual. Being a US user the subdoed flavors are bland to me. Gottesburg rape and rape 2 are swell too. Onyx suprized me as carrying s lingering pepper note. Nice stark portion. Can is kinda feminine when busted out in front of the guys. I'm enjoying it with my morning coffee this week. So I want something a little tough a little sweeter with a stark kick, that is not mint or anice or exotically flavored. We need to be sent to sweden to help them with branding and marketing to US consumers who have preconceived expectaions for flavor and strength. Cope will knock skruf stark on its ass any day, but make you green around your gills sure as a bear shits in the woods if you swallow too much juice. I want to design a hybrid. US flavor with Swedish production and texture. A real american flavored honest snuss. Easier to give them what they want, and are used to, and leave open the oportunity to experience the real swedish experience. Still luvin triump when it's pouch time, but too damn sweet for more than a few per day.

General lös was my first lös, and I still always keep at least a tin or two around. High quality, a good benchmark snus to branch out from, or to keep as a mainstay, really has no major faults in my opinion.

I very much enjoy Cope long cut. IMO, Grov snus is the nearest the to taste of Cope I have found.

Snus from Sweden is Swedish, not American. Maybe our American friends need to adapt, not the other way around?

I would have to disagree with you on this. I think we Americans would just **** it up honestly. I personally think Swedish Snus is perfect the way it is. I used to dip American chew also, but it never took me the way Swedish Snus did that is for sure. I actually can't wait to have a snus during the day. I probably have one in about 80% of the day if not more if I do not have anything to do. So yeah, keep it Swedish and maybe try some more American flavors, but do not let the Americans do anything to it. We will screw it up and charge you 20 bucks a tin.

Americans adapt? You would have better luck asking the rain to fall up.

If you're not American, you're doing it wrong.

The less people know about Snus, the better the prices will be for us and the lower the chances of Phillip Morris taking over Swedish Match, my ultimate nightmare.

Why not just switch between dip and snus? I don't think that a "hybrid" would be any good.

                    Cheers!

I'm not sure thats totally true. Look at how American tastes changed when it comes to coffee (a comparable good) in only the last 10 years. It's actually pretty amazing when you think about it. Here in the Detroit area, middle class Midwestern Anglo-Saxons are constantly ordering carry out orders of Arabic food. 15 years ago, only college kids dared to eat such fare. But if its good, Americans will jump on it, eventually.

Same thing with beer also, the micro revolution changed a lot. Although there are still many that won't drink anything other than the 'lite' brands their peers buy.

I went to Sweden last year, before I became a snuser. They served Carlsberg beer on the plane and it is just perfect!

Talking about good beer.... i only like microbrews.

American Lager is crap but there are plenty of american micro breweries that serve of the best shit you can have as far as beer is concerned.

If anyone is in the southest you have to go to the Sweetwater Brewery in Atalnta.

Ask czar, its the most fun you can have man. 5 bucks gets you drunk and you can bring your dog , they grill hotdogs and burgers and have live entertainment. I have been 4 times and loved it every time.

Nothings better than drinking beer that came out of the Kegs THAT DAY
