About two years ago, I surfed to Swedish Match, and their website said that they wouldn't ship to Canada. So I gave up until I read a complementary article about snus. I decided to try again, and I came upon buysnus and northerner, which was a godsend to learn about snus! I soon made an order to buysnus and I've been snussing ever since.

I was on Youtube and searched the phrase "How to quit smoking." This video with this guy Nick popped up, and it showed how he quit smoking using Swedish Snus. I ordered some from Northerner.com and I am proud to say that I'm cigarette free for over 6 weeks now. The rest is history.

I read a little about it while web surfing, but held off ordering any in concern about it being confiscated or having to pay massive duties - this is Canada, after all. Started in Sept. '07 and haven't looked back. Only smoke occasionally now, although I do miss it.

I ran acrossed it on the internet while useing nasle snuff instead of smoking. Eventualy, I did the reserch and ordered the big portion variety pack from northerner. Great stuff! I see no need to quit snusing or use anything else ever again.

I had heard of it pretty much all my life having lived in Norway from 97 to 04, but never really noticed it. Then I moved back in 07 when I was 17. I started highschool, and I saw these black spots on the ceiling in the back of the classroom. Asked my friend what it was, and he said it was "snus" that people threw on the ceiling after using it and it would stick there. Later the same day I tried my first snus. Being used to Canadian cigarettes, and the European ones being really weak, snus was really something good.

Smokes were taking a told on my lungs. I have been smoking regularly since i was 12, i am 25 now so for 13 years. When i was 16 i got up to a pack a day (farm boy so i smoked all the time in the tractor). I was still competing in sports and they weren't a problem. I finished my higher education about 2 years ago got up to 2 packs a day, stared training for more conditioning then olympic weight training and my lungs were fried beyond belief. So i moved to dip. My wife didn't like the fact i was using dip and claimed it was worse then smoking, so i googled the health effects of smokeless tobacco and studies from sweden showed... well you guys know. So after more and more research i decided to make my own. Googled making snuff and it turned out in europe snuff is used up the nose strange i figured, my grandma is from the Ukraine and always called dip snus. So i googled snus figuring it was dip. First thing to pop up was storms youtube videos after that well you all know the rest.

When I stopped smoking after 19 years in favor of dip, I started pondering what else was out there for me. I remembered a conversation I had with my father some time ago about his good friend who used to work for a tobacco company in New Jersey. I remembered the name of that company: Swedish Match! So I googled Swedish Match and learned about snus.

After learning about snus, I found Buysnus, Northerner & Snuson.

When I was looking for ways to quit smoking, I read about a website that said about switching to oral tobacco, did some googling, found out about snus, and how it's safer than other methods of using tobacco and here I am.
