Comparing new los and old stash los

Well after getting involved in a los box pass on a site that exists in a parallel universe, a pass that went to the landfill BTW, I began using los after a long time without. Los pisses off my receding gums, but is so tasty!

I pulled 5 of my faves out of the Pact stash, all dated mid 2009. They were Roda Lacket, Prima Fint, General, Ettan, and Grov. Well I sampled all of them cold while waiting for them to defrost in the fridge. And I totally freaked! The flavor was gone and I had ruined a substantial amount of great los! Or so I thought.

I never throw out any snus, ever, you never know when that zombie apocalypse starts. I put these cans in a airtight home made can holder and set them away. Then, in a moment of insanity ( normal condition actually) I swam out 200 miles to sea and ordered and received 5 Rolls of los. I live in Maryland so that's what I have to do to get more.

Damn good los. I got my favorites, Grov, lot of Ettan (shit's always good and no problem trading BTW), and the old General. All was good and everything was groovy. I was losing up a storm and mudsliding to my hearts content. Then my wife found the old snus los and asked me why I had so much open, Busted! But, I for some reason put the cans back into rotation, waste not want not. Well I found that for some reason everything had gained all of the flavor back after defrosting and sitting a while.

The Roda was muted, no doubt about it. The Prima was not quite as sweet. but the Grov, Ettan was the same. For some reason the General seemed better.

I haven't had new stuff to compare with, but my General, Ettan, Grov, and Röda have all held up well. I mention those cause they're in paperboard, and if any were to go off, it would be them. I have several plastic tinned lös from 2008/9, and it's all fine also. There /may/ be a touch of flavor loss, but it's all still great, and if someone didn't know better, they'd assume it was a brand new tin.

Yeah the only problem I have had is some severe crushing due to the Vacuum packing.

A genuine portion snus with a robust tobacco flavor and hints of tar, dried grass, malt and a slight touch of dark chocolate.
