Finally found a use for Wise 6mg

    Working out!!

When I first started using snus, I was still occasionally going to the gym. I hated working out with snus. The flavor just got real bad on me, and I had to get rid of it.

Well, after gaining 20+ pounds these last couple of months, I joined a gym again. Tonight was my first workout. I thought, hmm, the Wise doesn't really taste much, and the little can thing would happily stay in my gym shorts pocket, maybe I will try that. And it was perfect!!! I wasn't aware of it at all as I worked out, no bad stuff going on in my mouth, and I happily kept the nicotine flowing as I worked out.

I have been struggling for a reason to like Wise. Now it will become another necessity for me. But one can should last me a month, as I use no more than 2 while I work out.

Then just do it, as the great Nike once said.

I worked SO hard to lose all that weight 5 years ago. No he** way do I want to go back there. Plus, a few years ago, I was working out seriously for about 5 months. Had me a personal trainer and everything. I looked better than I ever did, I felt even better than I looked, I was just in love with how it made me feel. Then bad job blowup involving a compulsive lying, untreated bi-polar boss, and then other parts of life just came undone. So I stopped.

Now, 3 years later, about to be divorced, it is time to put this piece back together. Planet Fitness here is like $20 bucks a month, plus I get unlimited tanning. Good enough to do what I want and need to do. With my new job, I have just rolled eating right and working out into that same mix. As I said before in other contexts, I am an addictive guy. By the time I hit my 30's, I had learned how to use my addictiveness to my advantage. For the next 6 months, these three are my new drug. It's just time for me to make life good again.

This is totally unsolicited advice, and you have every right to tell me to take a hike, but dude, why snus while you work out? For one, particularly if you’re doing cardio but even if your lifting, do you really want to put added stress on the old ticker? I am willing to bet that you wouldn't miss snusing a bit during your work outs. Plus, I think snus is an awesome, post shower reward. I’m not sure what dark force is causing me to be so nosey.

LOL, I suppose it's a good question. but honestly, the way I snus, I always have nicotine coming into my system. If I wanted to clear it out, I would have to wait at least an hour after I had my last snus, probably longer. I'm such an old nicotine addict, it really is my steady state, so I don't think it will make much of a difference. I may keep them with me next time, and not use unless I feel a strong need. I was more curious then anything yesterday about how the Wise would work.

But if I have a massive heart attack while I am working out, I promise the first thing I will think is Da**, I shoulda listened to Dead Rabbit :P
