Well it's pretty upsetting to see this crap happening again with you guys over there. It makes me angry. It is a great feeling to see some truly heroic people do what they can to help ease the pain. Great job Guays!

Me to, Vulpes, it is very nice of you to remember me! I was not very active at all here on forums, I was and I remain quite low on energy, the news we are getting these days (and I don\'t even count snus bans, etc) are all bad news, it does not matter what and how hard you try, you are not getting anywhere... but OK... What about yourself? I have made two fantastic trips to the UK in the mean time (2011 - 2012) one to the lake district and another one to Yorkshire Dales (I've been to Scotland, Snowdonia and elsewhere in Wales too)... amazingly scenic nature, excellent hand pulled ales and simple pub food - this is what I love about Britain!

How is the snus going? Tough times for eu snusers :|

YUP, I enjoy being a regular visitor to the island... this is lake Ullswater in the photo... I've been to almost every country in Europe and can say that British nature really stands out...

Tough times for EU snusers! As I said before I don't regret the loss of SM, been doing Oden's, skruf and phantom snuses and enjoyed these a lot. What is taking place now though is a disaster.... I am praying all sleeping giants, our Snus God Mr. GN and Denmark that it all stays as it is today, at least... so that we can still get some of our snus without having to travel to Sweden.... what is in your snus rotation, btw, Vulpes?

Thank the lord for GN and Snus2, things could be worse. Hopefully like you say, the status quo remains.

Hmm, my snus rotation. Well I'm generally on standard 8mg/g. At all times I have two cans of lös open - one flavoured (such as Offroad Liquorice or Nordstrommen Brandy) and one base tobacco (SM). I have 3 cans of portions open - generally one liquorice (odens or ld black), one wintergreen (general) and one plainish tobacco. When I'm at home I predominantly use lös, and portions when out and about. I also have a can of minis open for at night. Oh and at the moment I have a 'grinds' on the go (coffee portions). I try to vary what I order, my palette is a lot more forgiving as it used to be, I enjoy almost every snus there is.

Do you use sterks? If I remember correctly. Tell me about your rotation.

I second that.. let's hope things don't take another turn for the worse! Yes, I do use sterks, Oden's ES is my favorite morning sterk, there is nothing that could replace it as my first morning snus. I like Skruf for rose oil flavor (even though there is very little of rose oil left - Skruf has obvious quality issues). I use loose when I am at home almost exclusively. Being on a meeting or at work requires at least some level of discretion, I have Oden's portions (9 mg) for those occasions. I also have some Mointecristo portions left - for a special occasion... Montecristo is simply a very very yummy snus. I love Phantom Classic loose after a cup of tea, it has that "earthly" peat taste to it, goes very well with tea. Actually I could live on any single one of these snuses, should things go really bad here in Europe but I am used to my rotation and I love it. I was actually thinking of ordering a can of Norstrommen Brandy.. after reading reviews and how people rave about Norstrommen... but then my snus supplier (snus2.se) stopped selling single cans... I am careful not to order a roll of snus I am not sure I would like.

Oh no! I didn't realise this was such bad news when I saw it before. I just put in an order with Snus2.se but might put another in too although I too don't have much long term storage space. (by the way Snus2 have been a great supplier for me and EU snusers should try ordering from them with the Swedish language option turned on for a slightly larger range of products ;-)

I also want to thank GN for their great spirit here and having offered us the opportunity to buy their snus cheap throughout the previous difficulties.

My long term solution either involves my crop of tobacco working this year or finding a great supplier of loose whole leaf tobacco here in the UK. I've proved to myself that I can make lös at home that is good - shame I prefer portions! It's either that or give up/switch back to smoking or just replace the addiction with heroin and have done with it like the EU want to see!

                          :-(

We latvians do not scare easily. I can't tell you how many times I finally went up and talked to her or asked her to dance and she admits later on that she had been watching me for a while but was too shy to come up to me.

There was something in the newspaper this morning that I thought I would print out and scan... the face looks strikingly familiar....
