Sveiciens! Gribeju ar Jan un visus satikt Riga bet ar bernu/radiem laiks nesanac. Lidz nakoso reiz!

It is a smokeless tobacco lonely feeling when you do not have someplace that sells General products or even a place to get a occassional can of dip. My stash barely made it the two weeks I was there. Gave some of it away to relatives which was a mistake.

Smokes are everywhere and really cheap in Riga and I did smoke a few. Felt dry lungs/throat afterwards. Cannot imagine what I was doing to myself with a full pack some nights in my former years.

It really makes no sense not to have a Snus option and or related products.

Does anyone else speak Latvian? .....I am sure Snusdog and Premium Parrots are both latvians in disguise.....
The only advantage of being resident here is the proximity to Sweden. There will always be ways to get hold of snus.

I wonder what the reasoning is behind the cancellations of customer-accounts.

Do they fear a house search revealing their EU-customer-database?
Do they have no other means in their webshop-software to stop EU-customers from placing new orders?
Or do they think that EU-shipments are a thing of the past and will never again be possible, not even after the new directive?

It's weird to speculate about all that.

          Cheers!

I've mentioned before it would be nice to have a shop that had strict data deletion policies. After 30 days, all records get purged. That can make CS an issue, and there would be no loyalty programs, but privacy and freedom are worth the occasional loss of money, and some inconvenience.

                  (Q) A house search revealing their EU-customer-database ?
                  (A) I'd say that was high on the list, without saying too much in public, some EU guys know what i'm talking about.

                  (Q) No other means in their webshop-software to stop EU-customers from placing new orders?
                  (A) I think the payments were stopped close of business Friday, because skell couldn't get a payment in

                  (Q) EU-shipments are a thing of the past ?
                  (A) Once something is law, how many times does it get reversed ? Not many ...

Hi All, long time no see.

Just made an order on Northerner for the first time in ages and was puzzled that they only had V2 snus (which was what I wanted, so no big deal). Also pleasantly surprised that they were offering free shipping.

Thought I'd come on snuson to see f there was anything on the boards about that, and this was the first thread that caught my eye. Depressing.

Hey there lx. Seems like it's always bad news for snus in the EU, I'm getting used to it now. I'm happy enough to use V2 snus anyway, and the prices at the new northerner warehouse seem cheaper, so it could work out OK.

                          Shipping from USA to UK

Has anyone tried this? I'm not sure if it'll get through customs. The packages I received before from sweden and denmark were clearly labelled snus. Bloody bureaucrats!!! I really don't want to end up back on cigs.

Hi Muddy. It's bad news isn't it. At least we still have our brother GN willing to help us out again. Thanks GN

yup it works done it a few times. Trick is to order 5 cans at a time, gets through no probs. Also if its stopped you only pay VAT and not tax, may be a customs handling charge which is where they rip you off, but no tax so order away!

Thanks for that Skell, i'm in a bit of a panic. I only started 3 weeks ago, got 2 of my brothers onto it and now it seems like the rug is being pulled out from under us. Talk about bad timing.
