Email from Snus2 - (NOT GOOD)

Hi All, long time no see.

Just made an order on Northerner for the first time in ages and was puzzled that they only had V2 snus (which was what I wanted, so no big deal). Also pleasantly surprised that they were offering free shipping.

Thought I'd come on snuson to see f there was anything on the boards about that, and this was the first thread that caught my eye. Depressing.

Thanks for that Skell, i'm in a bit of a panic. I only started 3 weeks ago, got 2 of my brothers onto it and now it seems like the rug is being pulled out from under us. Talk about bad timing.

you can still order V2 from northerner and their stuff is good so its not the end of the world. Take advantage of the free shipping whilst you can.

Yes, this is (again) a very sad state of affairs, and I don't see things improve any time in the future. I am happy though we can still order V2. What V2 snuses do you use Muddy? You liked Grov if I remember and I find Phantom Brown to be a good alternative. I am on Phantom Classic loose myself which I think V2 has improved a lot since it was launched.

I'm a bit worried as I can't track my 2 outstanding orders with Snus2 and my account has been deleted also. They were BIG orders!

No - for some reason they didn't. But they did reply to my email very quickly with the tracking numbers - nice guys, they really are ... but I don't think they were given the option given the way they've shut down so quickly this time.

I assume the deletion of accounts to EU members means we also have no way of buying the raw materials to make your own snus ... in the past I've had large quantities of raw tobacco and the little teabags to make your own portions from them. I don't think they'll be so easy to get hold of now.

Yeah, I like the Phantom range - brown and classic (portion and loose) being favourites. Also like Thunder Original los.

I will too. I had a weird experience with my first order with them during the first round of EU snus problems, but they really saw me right and then it's been plain sailing with them ever since. In the last few months I learnt that they would still send me SM snus in the EU despite the ban as long as I learnt enough Swedish to get through the ordering process in that language ... it's been a blast getting re-acquainted with the perfection that is General Extra Stark as well as the magnificent Nick & Johnny Red with added chilli burn. Just a shame I couldn't talk about them here for fear of blowing their cover!

Snus2 have been so good to me on every order - a record that Northerner cannot live up to. I am sorry to be losing them, but given the circumstances I totally understand where they are and why they have to follow the line.

When I found out they wouldn't still ship SM *wink wink* I bulked ordered like a madman! All arrived now so I bid a fond farewell to snus2 till we may be able to use them again. This must really be hurting their sales and I feel sorry for them as it looks like they have been very good to alot of people on here.
