Vaccum sealing moist tobacco questions.

I'm a bit of a science ignoramus so i have a few questions...

Would vacuum sealing los snus halt the TSNAs escalating?

Would vaccum sealing keep the los snus moist, for say 6 months?

(without the use of a fridge/freezer)

I had an email back from Oliver Twist who vacuum seal their tobacco pellets - they say that once vacuum sealed the TSNAs stop escalating, would this be true? They also say that once vaccum sealed their pellets can be kept vaccum sealed for 12 months and then be used once open for up to 14 days. Sounds pretty promising for the smokeless tobacco traveller. Would like a bit more reassurance if possible rather than a couple of sparse emails.

Snus doesn't have TSNA increase, but it should help keep it moist in warm storage. Otherwise, I don't know about vacuum sealing. Air is the enemy to the freshness of anything, so sealing should always give better results.

I have an Andrew James vacuum sealer, cost me £39 and it's awesome. All the air is sucked out of whatever you seal, it even makes snus cans cave in in a concave way, I have to be careful with SM cans.

Yeah that vaccum sealer you've got looks like the one i want.
