Swedish Match Quality Control Issues...?

Kinda a long shot, but I figured I'd ask here!

I just ordered 3 rolls of General Long Strong (my go-to snus ever since it debuted) and 1 roll of "02" (the strong long lab series snus.) I've opened a can of both the General and the 02, and so far, most of the portions have had very small holes in them, which allows the tobacco to leak out! I'm sure you los fans would care less about that, but I'm not used to having microground tobacco down my throat, and it's becoming irritating and unpleasant.

I'm really worried that my entire order ($170 worth!) is going to be like this. Has anyone else encountered this lately with these brands, or at least, Swedish Match's long portion format? I've never had this issue with any Swedish Match snus, but have seen it in other brands. The Best By dates are Oct 19 for the General and Oct 23 for the 02.

I've found that they take quality control very seriously. Call or email them. I did, and they sent me several $5.00 off one can coupons.

you also might want to contact the shop where you ordered it and let them know. If you can take a pic that shows the problem that might help as well....very often they will replace faulty products

Thanks for the suggestion! I was actually thinking of contacting the store I ordered the snus from first. I've had no issues with them since I started ordering from them last year.

Likewise, I've become pretty loyal to Swedish Match-branded snus, because the quality has always been top notch, even if the cost is at a premium.

A quick update, it seemed to have been a complete coincidence that both a can of General Long Sterk and a can of 02 were both "defective" in that most of the portions had tiny holes in them. I've since opened another can of each, and they've had no such problem! Just a very strange coincidence. I thought it may have been shipping damage, but it's highly unlikely, as the snus was packaged in a cardboard box, and I don't know of any sort of impact that could cause small round holes in portions.

I felt obligated to update on the situation since the thread title is kind of slanderous towards Swedish Match, who are currently 99.9% out of 100% for me as far as customer satisfaction goes :-)
