As far as mint goes, it's pretty good.

I love Thunder Frosted but am trying to cut back on the nic. I'm going to order some Offroad Frosted but will definitely order some of this as well. I am encouraged by the fact that it is less strong and sweet tasting. I'm starting to run out of freezer space!

My order came in and I opened a can of Odens Cold. The spearmint is spot on. When I opened the can the smell is pretty much that of Wrigley's Spearmint gum. Not sweet at all just pure spearmint goodness. I'd say this is far superior to Offroad frosted (I get a nasty bitter taste after about 10 minutes with that). Any chance of this coming out in a strong / extreme version or even extreme los Mr GN? As it is now when I need a boost of Vitamin N and I'm in the mood for mint I reach for Thunder portions / los. A stronger version of Oden's cold could change that.

Overall I think this is a great snus, will definitely be ordering more in the future. Great job Mr GN!

I say keep the reg strength stuff, extreme is great and I love it but sometimes you just want a regular strength snus. LIke the oden's classic and extreme, very similar taste but somedays I just want the classic. Please keep the reg strength cold if you make an extreme GN, also Blueberry and the lime ones ;-) hint hint

P.S. A white portion Extreme Original would get a thumbs up!

I'm about 7 portions into a can of Oden's Cold portion, and have the following remarks:

                        1) THANK YOU, Mr. GN, for giving us a new regular-strength original portion from Oden's. If you want to do an extra sterk or Extreme version, go for it, but I hope you'll keep this on the menu as well.

2)This is really a great snus for mint fans. General Mint? Meh. General Wintergreen? Okay. Spearmint? Win.

3)As advertised, there is NO sweetener of ANY kind in this snus. Thank you for that as well.

This is definitely a roll purchase for me next time!

My biggest beef with the Jak's mint type products

Thanks for the comments... definitely on the same page here and can't wait to try. For me, the best spearmint type I have tried thus far was the Skruf Slim Fresh White but it is lacking somewhat. This might do the trick!

                            ~~
Cold has a very sharp spearmint to it, without the sweetness. Cold does spearmint the same way Thunder does Wintergreen. It's the best way I can describe it. Thunder WG has no sweetness, and can come across as a bit metallic tasting. Cold tastes the same way to me, but with spearmint, and a less bitter drip after long peroids. The tobacco feels a bit more stiff however under the lip, like the old Elixyr portions did. I don't know if that's the oil they use for flavoring, or if the tobacco is ground differently. Overall it was a nice surprise. I'm not sure I would order an entire roll of it, but a half roll is certainly not out of the question.
                            ~~

I love the burn in this snus. I had forgot what that feels like. If I was just starting though I think it'd light me up pretty good.

Well done Mr. GN. I like a "minty" snus in the morning on my way into work, and maybe one in the evening at bedtime. This is now my favourite flavoured snus and a roll order is coming up. I like how it does not have an overbearing sweetness, just a pure fresh taste. I also like that it doesn't have a killer nicotine content although I suspect an extreme version may make some other manufacturers a bit nervous Very pleasant snus. Thank you for coming out with some new products in a time when others seem to be discontinuing some old favourites.

P.S. My wife is loving it as well.... will have to order a couple of rolls or start hiding it on her
