What a great thing. I'm low on portions so I decided to check the general store locator to see of any new locations are carrying general. Low and behold a gas station 1 mile from my place has mint and OP for 4.19, not bad at all I have to say. Prior to this all I had were cigar shops that charged 6-7 a tin.
Finally, general at the gas station!!!

Sad story.
I have two areas near me that sell General.
They are hardly in date and the los is ALWAYS expired.
One of the tobacco stores actually had other snus there like blue ocean and thunder and one other I cant remember.
The sales are so slow that sometimes he just gives me cans when I buy because they arent moving.
I just wonder how SM is going about advertising. I mean you see dip ads in all sort of magazines and I have yet to see a single General ad, hell even Camel Snus has ads in popular magazines.
I just hope SM pushes harder in this market and does not give up. The fact I can buy around here is great but Swedish Match has a problem they must solve.
Just like with Copenhagen people always think if something is beyond its best before date then it is trash. The only way to combat that would either be to not list it or do like Copenhagen did and put a made ON date not best Before date.

When I switched from Marlboro to American Spirit cigs I had hell finding them when traveling, and I have traveled a lot. Then about the time I decided to switch to snus American Spirit brand was everywhere and finding it was easy. I bet if I quit snusing it will suddenly be on every store tobacco shelf in America. Now I travel less and also I am lucky General is available locally and has enough buyers to be fresh every time I buy it.

I try to do the same but when the General is almost $5 a can and most of the time near date or after I may by 1 or 2 cans, but I have pretty much been buying online cause it is cheaper and I am not a huge fan of it. Now if it was the only thing I could get then it wouldnt be the end of the world but its not my favorite.
I actually turned the one store owner onto it and he mentioned later others had asked about it but he had never heard of it. He carried Mint, Wintergreen, White and Regular, and Los.
I was excited to see it but it seems that it just isnt selling and he has moved the cooler to the back of the store where you cant even see it, which irritates me.
I just wish people would give it a shot.
You know how many people I run into have been brainwashed by moronic health nuts and tell me, " You know your lip is going to fall off. " I try to explain to them what snus is and they just tell me im an idiot and that all tobacco is bad and will kill me.
How can they fight propaganda?
