Excuse me if this has been discussed.

I guess we will not be seeing this sold on Northerner or Buysnus anytime soon as I was upset the first time it left us then it came back, yay, then I guess it is gone again.

But I noticed on their website you can buy a bucket of snus, 40 cans they say, for roughly $177.

If I were to buy this do they ship to the US or what?

Also, I know I saw in an Ettan heritage video on the SM website which showed people upper lipping it and also using it as nasal snuff. On the Gellivare website they mention it as nasal snuff as well. Does this have to do with tax brackets or something cause I would think it is far to coarse to sniff.

Anyways, any help would be appreciated, cause if you can get it I may just splurge and buy some of the flavorings for it. I guess that is what they are although they are called essential oils on the website, which makes me wonder if it is flavorings or just scents.

AFAIK they just ship within Sweden. Coarse, moist snuff can be sniffed, but it isn't my preference. I snuffed Gotland Grå once, and it was pleasant enough, but not the easiest to get in the nose. Flavor and scent are closely related, and the Swedes use of the word "aromer" for flavoring is useful imo. It's hard to separate the two, and flavor/scent could be used interchangeably.

I have sent Gellivare several emails asking if they ship to the USA but no answer. Could be that I don't speak Swedish but who knows. GN also tried to call them as a favor to me but couldn't reach anyone.

Well dang, would be nice to get one of those tubs and some of the flavorings, if thats what they are, and experiment.

Some of us tried ordering direct ages ago when they stopped making but they don't seem to want to make their products internationally available.

Perhaps they could be convinced if it was worth their time. One big shipment, in one big box; 10-20 tubs. It could then be sent to a US tobacco shop(PA would be ideal), then someone picks it up in person, and mails tubs out to those who want it. The tobacco shop would need to get a cut. I think $10 per tub would be worth their time. The shop is important imo, because that's a big loss to lose to government goons if the package got seized. Do it nice and (quasi)legal, and it wouldn't incur too much overhead from sticker price.

Theres always V2s snusX buckets. Theres some on the tobacco exchange, with flavorings. Those are portions. And would save quite a bit over roll prices.

Well if any of you have a local tobacconist ask them and let us know because like I said I would have no problems paypaling some money to chip in on an order. I loved the old school snus they made.

I went to ask my local shop, but sadly they informed me they are closing. : (

I will travel to my other shop which sells snus and inquire there although I do not know the guy like I did the local one here. He knows me as the snus guy and thats about it lol. But maybe if I make it worth it for him he would.

I still see getting in contact with Gellivare as being the main issue. Maybe if several of us email them one of us will get a response. I am going to see if I can use my translation app to type up a message and translate it into swedish.
