Norway is very proudly outside the EU!

However - everything in Norway costs 4 times what it costs in the UK and only the Norwegians can afford it unfortunately.

        Amazing country!

Yup they are, which is where we need to be! Certain things here are so expensive because of the EU, the rest is just ripoff Britain for you.

They pay high taxes yeah....but they've got a very high standard of social living as a result. I'm not absoloutely sure but isn't it true that their childcare is either paid for by the state or heavily subsidised? Makes a hell of a difference from my payments of £1,700 a month.

With all the financial crap going on in the EU it is amazing that they have time for anti-tobacco.. which makes me assume that because of inflated government officials doing who knows what is the big reason they are in the mess they are. Looks like a good time to learn the dealings of the black market if you are looking for a career move.

If it was popular within the UK I'd seriously consider it but unfortunately it's not. And if you figure out the profit margin you wouldn't be making much even if it was popular - the cost of a van, taking a ferry to Sweden, the fuel - you've got to get it past customs so you'll have to figure in a loss every now and again, and then you've got to have somewhere to store it. The black market wouldn't work on snus - the profit margins would be crap.

Petitions are useless. The EU's own public consultation received around 80.000 responses, the highest number of responses to any public EU-consulation ever, and around 95% pro snus. You can find the exact numbers here: http://ec.europa.eu/health/tobacco/c...cons_01_en.htm.

So what did the EU do?
They analized the outcome of the consultation, found that it wasn't to their liking and (as the mixture of tobacco-phobic, brainwashed idiots, pharma-industry-paid opportunists and megalomanic, misanthropic lunatics they are) assumed that every response was probably paid by "big tobacco" and also irrelevant in the light of some undisclosed new scientific findings known only to the EU-commission.

The EU-bastards do what they want. All we can do is to remind them that with the current health policy some of the EU-commissioners could really end in jail for the rest of their life. All that is needed for that to happen is a small change in what is called "political correctness". They should think twice with everything they decide, if it's worth to risk their own future and to some extent the future of their whole families by taking bribe money from the pharma-industry for pursuing a policy that can only be called moronic by everyone who spends five minutes to evaluate the facts. I know that they and their minions are reading forums like this.

I'm really not optimistic for the near future, but at some point every tyranny and every brainwashing of the people has to end.

                      Cheers!

Market snus as chewing tobacco and no problems

......or for the members of SnusOn and my friends.

There isn't that much profit to be made. Its hardly worthwhile for the time thats spent but man if I couldn't get my snus...well.......like they say "any port in the storm will do".
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
