Have you ever tried J&H Wilson's Medicated No.99 snuff? Sounds similar.

I was also thinking outside the box a bit. I mean, if Roderick can apply cheese & bacon to nasal snuff ... then what might work well with the under the lip stuff?

Ansel - I wonder if allspice/pimiento would work for you? It's a clove like taste - but not quite so cloying ... it's the fruit of the tree that makes bay rum aftershave smell the way it does ... that would be an interesting flavour!

Chinese 5 spice will give you some cinnamon/clove/etc. flavour too.

Rootbeer all the way. I take some plain snus right now and put a bit of flavoring in with it and it is SUBLIME! Salty rootbeer is quite possibly the best taste in a snus I've ever had.

Nutmeg, chocolate and chili (Ettan meets N&J RR), carroway, soya (bare with me) soya sauce has a unique heavy taste that a strong tobacco would compliment, it would cut through it and the saltiness works.

Tobasco - not an all the time flavor but an every now and then flavor.

I think birch or honey sounds nice. Maybe teaberry as well.

I wouldn't mind a bacon or chicken flavored snus...or even barbeque. They already have those flavors for potato chips, why not snus?

Cafe Ole Coffee with a hint of almond I think would be interesting.

Hi Jimmy. I guess I had it right in this review then? http://www.snuson.com/forum/showthre...s-Julesnus-Los I've surprised myself, I'm not very good at picking out flavours!

I have not personally tasted 5-spice, but Gotlandssnus Julesnus contain a "Glögg, typical swedish x-mas hotdrink" flavor that is the taste of: cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cardamom and vanilla.
