Back a page or so in this thread, I asked GN what happened to it and he responded that it was being re-released in a few months as Odens 79 after a tune up
Ving Ginger was one of the best portioned snuses out there and was a roll buy for me (mind you…..that is saying a lot when a portion snus makes the dog’s roll buy list).
It had a subtle (almost understated) ginger element playing in the background that accentuated (verses hid) the deep rich GN tobacco base......this was all brought together and rounded off nicely by the same creaminess found in the Wintergreen. Man it is good.
When it is rereleased I would say it is a must try. I hope the tweaking that GN spoke of will be only very slight.....since this was almost perfect as it was.
Regardless........as soon it is out I'll be grabbing a can for comparison......with the full expectation of folding the new 79 into the slot now occupied by Ving Ginger (that is once my stash of VG runs out)When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... GN, is it your intention to keep Conny captive in the lab continuously churning out new snus flavors, then picking some hapless snussers out from here to try them out for a second opinion, or do you have a plan for total snus world domination? Because if the answer to either question is yes, then the sooner you get that Creamy vanilla coffee done the sooner you can begin to rule wisely!
