I've been smoking more the past couple weeks. A cigarette every other day or so. I go through periods like that, but it goes away quick. I almost had one this morning, but opted for a pinch of Copenhagen instead. It's all good :^)
F%#& the smokes! - How do I quit smoking when drinking?

OK, an update!
I did actually get back to smoking shortly after my 10-day smokefree announcement, but only for a little while regularly. After that I had one cigarette here and there, but I came to a point (once again, but much stronger before; behold the power of snus!) where I really saw and felt the stupidity of inhaling smoke, knowing it can and will eventually kill me or make my health severely worse. So yeah, I don't know about days smoke-free now, but I would count it to one month right now. I've been going to parties and stuff and been super stressed working my ass off, but I honestly haven't had the slightest craving at all. Since I work at a bar, people are of course (oblivious to other tobacco alternatives) smoking away like there is no tomorrow, but instead of looking at them with a bit of envy, I now honestly look at them with pity - with my snus securely placed in my left upper lip, knowing I won't risk the harm that smoking carries.
I also have gotten in to e-cigarettes again (vaping 100% VG right now), which I now find fantastic. If I get the slightest craving for a quick nicotine hit or for smoking, I take a quick vape and it's gone. It's fantastic.
Without these forums and without this support I would probably be smoking still (probably combined with snusing). But reminding myself about the stupidity and hazards of smoking, and the benefits of staying smokeless (which the forums pretty much are all about), keeps me aiming and staying with the better and more healthier way of life. Cheers!

No stress..........just let the snus win......When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

One of myfriends packs a snus and uses the "blu" cigarette with no nicotine in it. I know that sounds funny, but its the issue of oral fixation. He has completely quit smoking. Its funny to see him pack a snus and then whip out an ecig after. Most people who don't know that the ecig has no nicotine must think he is a straight nicotine junkie haha
but yeah just my 2 cents
