    What does 19.1 grams mean?

Stupid question I know, but different tubs of snus have different numbers on them 19.1 grams, or 10 grams, is that simply the total weight of the tobacco in the pouches or is it something to do with nicotine content?

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

The only way 19.1 grams could refer to nicotine content, would be in the case of one of the new creations from GN tobacco. Probably the new coffee snus. Just my luck.

Kidding aside, 24 grams used to be the standard total portion weight of snus in a portion can, and does not include the can weight itself. Those days are over, from a taxation standpoint, and there are usually 2o to 21 grams in the same can. So each portion is now .9 grams, although the mg of nicotine contained has not decreased. Mini portions are the worst per can, 20 .5 gram portions for a total per can of 10 grams. It is a shell game with them slowly giving less weight, or fewer portions. Study it, learn it, and then you will begin to see who gives you a fair deal.
