Surprising Disappointments

Like a lot of folks, Offroad portions weren't my thing.

So I decided to give the OR losses a try before giving up on the brand for good. I got Cranberry and Wintergreen los.

Cranberry was love at first bite. My bro (an inveterate portionssguy) even loves it.

The Wintergreen is a dud tho. I had high expectations because the Cran was so good, and... how can you eff up wintergreen? But they did. It actually tastes more like a wimpy Teaberry, with no "burn". Plus it tastes a lot like the plastic can it comes in.

After trying Camel Snus, I bought a Mocca Mint mini. I hated it. I was really disappointed. But I preservered and got LD, General and OffRoad Ice Fruit. Now those three are among my favorites.

1) Gotlands Julesnus- Tasted exactly like pickled anchovies.
2) Probe- Bad mushrooms and absolutely no whiskey resemblance to me.
3) Taboca- Soap
4) Pall Mall- Paper with a slight citrus hint.
5) Ettan- Slightly like Probe at first but then finishes with bad hazelnut aftertaste.

Really? I have some portion in right now, and its not terrible, but its not good, and I taste no cranberry. I might have to try this.
