Question About Mini-Portions

Hi all, as a means to help lower my nicotine content I have looked into using minis as my daily ration.

However, I notice instantly they are more expensive?

I dont understand why it is almost a full $1 more for less. Kind of makes me want to just stick with original portions.

They should be about the same price. I checked General on Buysnus, and they were within pennies of each other. Still not a good deal though. How about lössnus, and making small prises. Even in a business environment, it would be easy to hide .5g of lössnus, and you can just eat the pris if you have to get rid of it quick.

I made a thread some time ago with the exact same subject. I wanted to cut down on my nicotine usage as well, but after getting mad about the prices of the minis I am now using extra sterks and sterks like a fiend instead.

How about the lower nicotine brands? Don't general do a mild full size one? Not sure what it's called.

Minis are shockingly bad value for money.

You could also try some of the Offroad flavors. They're at 8 mg per portion and pretty cheap. The Offroad Coola white and the Eucalyptus White are pretty good and less than $3 a can. You may be thinking General Classic and General Nordic Mint in the coffin can. Those are at 6 mg Per portion, I think, and should be in Georgia at most convenience stores for a few bucks a can. if not, BuySnus is selling them for like $4.50 each........seems kinda high since I can get them here in the sticks of Northern Illinois at the Circle K for $2.99 a can. :-/

I was hoping that i could convince GN to release a mini version of his extreem series. I just know that if he would do this, and increase the weight/content of each can, he would have an instant winner. This would take care of so many issues to make it an epic win, such as:

Increased can weight would provide value, none of this 10 gram cans. Instant advantage- Every one currently feels ripped off buying minis.

Discreet mini. Great for so many occasions, including everyday work. Instant advantage- Lots of usage.

Those of us with nicotine issues can use them and maintain manageable nicotine levels. Instant advantage-

Great slow steady nicotine release. Classic taste and same kick as an OP.

The prices I was comparing were on snuscentral to General Strong minis (6mg) and Taboca portions. I think it was along the lines of 3.70 ish for Taboca and 4.67 or the like for the minis.

I guess ill just stick to regular portions as of now, and use them less/leave them in longer to cut back on chainsnusing.

The quantity of tobacco negligibly affects the price -- other than in some tax schemes. You are paying for machines to run, electricity, factory workers, marketing, etc. -- and a healthy dose of profit.

Yeah, that's the one.

I know Skruf did one too, but that's not much use to someone in the States. And I think they discontinued it anyway. *helpful face*
