I just tried this today, and it tastes the same as the Blue minus the Pine Sol flavor. This and the Blue lös are the best of V2 that I've had, but it isn't something I feel the need to get again. They're both too sweet, and the flavors taste synthetic to me. It's worth a try(lös only) since the price is so low, but I wouldn't expect much out of it.

lol... Blue does have a certain pine-sol smell to it. Though I'd say it is closer to windex.

The blue reminds me of a lemon drop with the sweet lemon smell, same artificial lemon taste, but who doesn't like lemon drops?!

Damit Xobeloot you have another convert to the Phantom movement, I just ordered a roll of blue los and a few cans of the classic. Had ordered one can when it came out, first impression was I was not that impressed it sat in the freezer for a few weeks then I tried it again it was ok not a favorite but ok. Used it all up about a week and a half ago and having Phantom withdraws the stuff grows on you. I still don't think it will ever be my 24/7 snus but I need it to change things up a bit.Comment

Tried it and realy like it. The classic has a good, round, full flavor.
I not too partial to pine or juniper but, I might try the blue someday.
I've noticed the phantom and offroad have the same texture. Grainy, yet sticky. Color is lighter too. More dark brown than black. I realize they're produced by the same manufacturer. I wonder where in the process the different flavors and labels diverge.Comment

the classic Los is a nice citrus/pepper/bergamot flavor.
As far as the divergence of Offroad and Phantom... Phantom just uses a cheaper tobacco than offroad. Equally as good (if not better) than offroad.Comment

Phantom lös is way better than the portions. Phantom Classic portion holds the honor of being my most hated snus. The lös is acceptable, though it'll never be a favorite. I can't in good conscience recommend any V2 portion snus, but the lös is definitely worth a try.Comment

I am defiantly now a los fan, hardly ever use portions only every once in a while to try and get rid the over stock in my freezer. Just don't like the bags any more :P While I guess there is a difference in the los and portions for all manufacturers V2 has to have the most profound I have noticed. I will never buy another Off-road portion product again, I know they have there fans but I am not one of them (not judging mind you I am still depressed about not getting any more Level). Not just moisture content the tobacco seems so different in texture and taste between V2 portions and los. I ripped open a portion of Off-road after it lost all flavor and it looked like hay? Maybe just a bad batch. The Phantom los at least looks like snus and packs pretty easily now that I am addicted to the crack additive just glad it is so cheap

Aye. The portion tobacco is very "stemmy" and a bright orangish-red in color. The Los is a nice brown and coarsely ground.
I think the Phantom los tobacco is the leftover from the Offroad los production, the Offroad portions are the throw-away from the Phantom los production, and the Phantom portions are the leftovers from the Offroad portion production. (this is far-fetched, but possible)Comment
