You are right there Whalen by the way we would like to invite you to GN as head consultant on the tobacco what is your take on it?

Conni Andersson is probably the most experienced and talented snus tobacco expert in the world. The fact that he was willing to place a large amount of snus tobacco in Bowmore barrels and allow it to age is an awesome event. The designer for the tin is also top notch, really top notch. GN you have brought together a wonderful thing! This is quite an unveiling, and will usher in a whole new world class snus. I could only dream of the choice tobaccos that Connie has at his disposal. Dreams are made of things such as this. My hope is that this wonderful creation will be made available to try here some day.

This what I had hoped for when I heard that he had joined forces with you. I have no doubt that this signifies the first of many exquisite new snus you guys are cooking up at GN Tobacco. Kudos my friends, Kudos............

As far as tobacco for this one, I would hope for a nice aged Dominican Seco leaf, something dark with cigar overtones, but blended with a nice dollop of the extreme base tobacco for strength and that wonderful finish. Just a hint of cigar to contrast the whiskey. I just tried a Montecristo with a drop of Islay, just the right marriage.

Oh and just to tie this all back to the south (from whence cometh all things good)...............the barrels used for Islay Malts are made of southern oak........many of which are old bourbon Barrels bought from the southern distilleries............

which leads me to the conclusion that GN speaks Swedish............. with a certain endearing and erudite southern draw

Brother GN……….I await the sample of Islay Snus…………..if it is right………. and beautiful………….it will find its way south………….the Lord will see it done

Well Jimmy, the most awesome Whiskey snus I could imagine, would be a Gottlands Gul Los that was placed within 100 meters of a whiskey barrel! Just wheel it past a whiskey barrel on the way out of the production facility. That would be an awesome snus! There is no need to actually ever have to put the gul los in a whiskey barrel!

Whiskey must be the new "Thing"! Good luck to you all.
