New here, Questions on getting snus in the USA.

Hey all, i've been snusing for about 2 months and absolutely love it. I use general portions, because of their simplicity. I'm in Texas and have a few questions regarding efficient ways of getting snus. Currently I get my snus from blackcatcigars.com. The price is reasonable with shipping I'm paying 45 dollars for a roll. If I get 20 cans it comes out to like 3.80 a can. That is a very fair price to me. The only problem with this vendor is that they only carry the general brand and only a few flavors. The only other semi-reasonable website is getsnus.com though it is still pricey. Northerner and all the other popular websites have shipping rates and prices that I find ridiculous.

I have found a loophole of sorts by buying it from blackcatcigars, because it is already in the US the shipping is low I guess.

Are there any other ways or websites you have found to get snus cheap in the us? The over the counter vendors in my city want like 8 dollars a can so thats out of the question too.
Any tips or tricks?

Honestly man, get used to getting reamed on shipping. It's usually a good idea to wait until you have a large order to offset the cost a bit. Also if you pay the higher shipping at snuscentral our buysnus, you can pretty much count on getting your snus fresh as can be, in about three days.

I buy from Buysnus and my average order (2-4 rolls) comes out to 4 something per can. Have to order at least 2 rolls to make the shipping worth it, but I get it in less than a week.

Hmmm I'm afraid thats what i'd hear. Im just not in a good position to buy in mass bulk. I'm in college and kinda broke to spend a couple hundred on a huge order at once.

I think i'll stick to blackcatcigar. So far I've tried the original and wintergreen portions. Original is better, but wintergreen was also pretty dang good. My shipment i'm waiting on right now is original white portion.

You just got to network and work the sales. I understand the not able to bulk thing, but that is the secret to cheap snus, hold out until they really are having a insane sale, then load the phuq up. I am managing about 3 a can that way with some great selections. This falls ales were good, but the glory days are gone. Lilbrowns had some good general roll pricing last time I checked, otherwise there is Parrots.

If you can get to a point you can swing about $100 (about 2 rolls), that seems to be the break point when I order where orders go under $5.00 a can.

You should talk with "PremiumParrots", he might still have some snus for sale. He's a member here on this site, I suggest sending him a PM. Great guy, reliable trader, and he *usually* has quite a bit "in stock".

Otherwise, I'd check out SnusCentral, or BuySnus. You could also try Northerner(cheaper on shipping), but Northerner has been having some issues with their site & shipping lately. SC or BS are both fantastic sites, and your snus will always be fresh.

I'd be careful with Thunder Frosted (ES or Raw), as it's quite strong. It's an amazing snus, but it'll kick your butt if you aren't ready for it. First time I had it I almost fell down when I tried to stand up after putting a portion in.

I know I am new here and pretty new to snus in general (copenhagen for 30 years). I have used snuscentral a couple of times and they have been fantastic with responses to enquiries and shipping to florida in about 3-4 days. Shipping costs stink so, like others I have ordered rolls or larger quantities to offset some of the shipping costs. Also, they offer a discount for 1st time orders. I am not affiliated just impressed by them.

Since I got my neighbor hooked on snus from smoking and dip, we do combined orders of 12 rolls at a time brings it down to the low $3.xx per tin. See if anyone on here is near you and hook up for orders every few months. I'm in Sugar Land

TransAmMan BuySnus was having a ridiculous sale on all General Roll's on Christmas Eve. With shipping it came out to be like $2.30 a can which is awesome. I unfortunately couldn't pull the trigger due to some credit card problems but just letting you know that those sale exist. I have ordered from Snus Central and they are amazing and have similar sales at times to so if you can swing $100-$150 you can still get a really good deal. Thanks for pointing out Black Cat though that seems to be the best bet for small orders in the states as Lil Brown doesn't ship to most states and Northerner's shipping is cheap but everything else about them is very over priced.
