    Effects of different smokeless tobacco?

Right now i'm waiting till wednesday on my shipment of general cause I ordered too late again like an idiot. So I bought a can of Grizzly snuff, the silver top finest cut one.

I've been snusing for about 2 months now and I've noticed the effect is a whole lot different. I've been using nicotine in various forms for almost 2 years regularly so nothing really gives me a buzz anymore but I can feel the difference.

With snus I don't feel much at all. The effect is mental, I concentrate better with it in my mouth but thats about it.

With american dip I feel a whole lot...slower I guess. it starts off by giving me a slight headache and after a way it makes me feel really sedated. Like just calm and somewhat depressed, maybe supressed is the right word.

And with chew like levi garret or redman I don't feel much at all. If anything it makes me feel a little more active, definitely not a calming effect.

Does anyone else feel this way? Anything different? I'm wondering if its something with the chemicals in the different types that give me a different effect

I think a lot of it is mental I dipped a lot of years but after Swedish snus for the past two years I wouldn't trade buying snus for a free lifetime of dip. Snus has a more calming effect on me.

Light doses of nicotine act as a stimulant, heavier doses act as a depressant.

I use snuff during the day to stay alert and light on my feet, snus at the end of the day to relax.

What a light dose is depends on tolerance, ph of the tobacco/your mouth and sometimes mood. Sometimes J need a snus to get my level where i like it during the day.

      YMMV.
