    Offroad Longcut any good?

    Morning folks,
I am going to be ordering some los and I have never realy tried a los that is intended to be a los (cut up some kronan portions in the past and tried my newly modified 3cc. syringe on some Redman FC Natural last night.)
Anyway, I pretty shure of what I'll be ordering from reading up on this forum except the Offroad Longcut. I'm very interested but I'd like some opinions on it before I order it.
Can you lower lip it or do you prity much have to "upper deck it" (Xobloot's clever term, not to be confused with upper decking a toilet. )?
Does the original or winter green tast any good?
I assume you would have to use the hillbilly method (Swedish terminology), is this true?
Any advice, views or opinions would be great.
-Thanx in advance and Kind regards

The American Wintergreen is about as close to an American Dip wintergreen flavor you will find. It is an overpoweringly pungent mint (personally a dislike ). The Original (pure tobacco) Is good (assuming you like Offroad Original Los).

This stuff cant really be baked as it is cut similar to a copenhagen long cut. Just grab a wad, bang it in there commando-style and it stays in place for as long as youu want without any fear of mudslide.

Go ahead and toss it in your order. It is a novelty more than anything. Who knows... you may like it, you may not.

Edit: I am an idiot. I say "assuming you like Offriad Original Los" right after reading that you have never had true los.

The Original has a mild, peppery tobacco taste with citrus and some bergamot flavoring.

One thing I have noticed about the Offroad Original long-cut, is that due to its cut, it seems to have a slower nicotine release than Offroad Original snus.

And yes, you can definately lower-deck this stuff (but it may result in the need to spit a bit at first)

Well i love the long cut wintergreen. I lower deck the hell out of it. I had no porblems with the nic hit since i will not spit. The flavor is great. I for one am a proud north american that loves the over powering taste. I upper deck'r before, no problems. Hell take a wad and toss'r in your cheek.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the Land and Gel. I have been meaning to order/try those but I never seem to get around to it.

Though it sounds like it may be a bit, I'll reveiw those two. I did not find a whole lot on them when I was researching los, what I did read sounded interesting.

Hey snusfather, I too have some landstroms on the way. I didnt get gellivare because it was out of stock.

I think its cool its made by a husband and wife team from some very fine quality products and is supposedly lower in tsnas than most snus products.

I would give you a link to their website but its all in swedish and i cant understand any of what it says.

I noticed on their site they sell humectans to add flavor to your snus. At least i believe thats what those weres.

                Grim,

That is too bad, it sounds like an interesting web site. I do like the idea of a (literaly) mom and pop quality snus producer. I can't wait to see how good it is. I think I'll try to find that web. site anyway (for all the good it will do me )

Thanx for the help lxskllr, I'm still as unsatisfied as Grim
Dead Rabbit, I will bear that in mind. Is it just a note or hint of @$$h0le? Perhaps blended in a traditional way for the modern consumer who wants to make a staitment about their independence and new way of looking at snus. (snus ad. montage)

I remember when i dipped copenhagen others would say how can you dip that it looks like dirt and tastes like a$$hole.

I prefer a high quality true to tradition snus. Thats why i am hoping Landstroms and Gellivare will deliver.

That is why a like Gotlands so much too.

I try to stay away from huge business tobacco but then again theres nothing wrong with it because its very high quality but then again i try to stay away from the stigma of, " well everyone else uses this so it must be good and i need to use it."

Now i love general los, but its my third favorite. But i know i can always fall back on it.

Snusfather make sure you let us know what you think, ill be posting my thoughts as well.

And if anyone can translate that website please let us know.
