General is nice and sometimes I like a solid hit of grovsnus, it has such a potent flavour! Göteborgs Rape is also nice, quite peppery for something different. Never got a taste for røda, though. Tastes like artificial cocktail cherries or something... or maybe my tastebuds are just a bit crazy, haha. I've just bought some skruf stark but haven't tried it yet, i'm expecting good things from what I hear, though! Ettan is ettan...what can you say beyond that  I think I agree with Skruf Bjelle, it's nice to have some variety because there are lots of really good snus out there.

I was a big user of Ettan for about a year. Then I quit for about two years. Started back up agin and now there are a lot of new snus brands available.

Of the newer ones my favorite are Strongcut and Knox loose. Of the pouches I really haven't made up my mind yet.

Just got a box of strongcut lös and it's tops, one of my new favourites. Roda lös is also much better than pouch roda, the taste is quite different - i see the attraction now

The Best? Hmm.. hard to say.
Ofcourse Ettan is the most common and also very good. But Göteborgs Prima Fint has better odor.
When the factor for voting is strongness, then I most go with Skruf Stark (Portion prefered).

          Anyway, snus is good.

Untill...I bought a box of Kardus and tried that. It might not be for everybody but I found it the very best snus for me with a perfect cut and delicious taste. Since I use a very small amount each day, one box of Kardus lasts me about 2 months. I bought two more when The Northerner put them on sale and vacuum-packed them and put them in my freezer. At the sale price and with 100g in each box, it's not crazy expensive.
I still use the Goteborg's Rape sometimes for a change, I like the different flavor, but 9 times out of 10 I use Kardus. I hope they release it again next year!
May I ask which month you purchased the Kardus? I would really like to try it but I cant find any for sale at the moment! Oh, and to keep on topic, my favourites are General loose and Goteborgs rape number 2 (only comes as pouch but I snip the pouches open and turn it into loose!! )

I bought it from northerner.com in February. I checked their site just now and I think they're out of it, unfortunately. It's still on their search engine but not on their snus pages, and the price is listed as $1358.70, which seems incorrect!!
I didn't find it for sale anywhere else on the internet.
I'll definitely be buying more next year if they make it again.

                  Good news!

Kardus is now available as a regular tinned snus!! Check out this site, it's the first I've seen selling it:

                  I've already ordered two rolls.

^ legend! You'll have to let us know how it compares to the signed/numbered Kardus boxes. I think i'm going to get myself some as well

I'll do that, but according to Swedish Match, this release is supposedly exactly the same as the more expensive boxed/numbered version--same tobaccos, same process.
                        Excellent!
The great thing about Kardus is that while it seems more expensive, it really isn't. I find that regular snus like Goteborgs or General is only good for about 40 minutes or so before it gets bitter. Kardus lasts and lasts...often for twice as long. So that offsets the higher cost.
However, it's not for everyone, since the nicotine levels seem a bit low. But I don't like strong snus (I'm a wimp), so the better taste of Kardus is worth it.

well, I must say that I enjoy a solid crack of nicotine, but it's nice to have variety and something to savour and enjoy as well. In desperate times one can always just do up a nice fat prilla of skruf or strongcut anyways 8)

I recieved my cans of Kardus today, and I have to say I am impressed!!

Like TheCanuck said, the pinch lasts a long time, whether thats due to the cut or lack of chunky bits of stem I have no idea, but it tastes fantastic! Sweet, smokey caramel flavours with just the right amount of salt!

I ordered a roll of 10 after my first pinch!

Yeah! My kardus just came in today too  Talk about a nice snus! Very coarse, but because it's just leaves it's almost spongey and stays together better than I would have expected. It even smells nice - lighter and fresher than snus usually smells. It reminds me a bit of gellivare or landströms in that it gives you the feeling of being made with care, but it's not as sharp and the taste is smoother. Very classy, if one can imagine saying such a thing about a lössnus 8)
