English on Swedish snus cans

One thing that has always had me curious, is why are Swedish snus cans mostly written in English if it is primarily sold in Sweden? That is something I have always found interesting. I would almost think that it would make more logical sense for the cans to be written in Swedish.

Are you talking about the writing on the actual can, or the warning label?

The warnings are all in Swedish but the writing on the cans are in English, I have always found this odd, same with all forms of tobacco packaging, its mostly in English for some reason lol. Always wondered whether people who cannot speak English in e.g. Serbia can understand the instructions on packs of Lucky Strike Click and Roll lol

It's due to the pervasiveness of the English language. Most products (tobacco or non-tobacco) contain English in some form on their packaging. It's not unique to Swedish snus.
