Ok, I guess I must live in RJ Reynolds favorite test market because I just found these at my local shop. Anyone else ran into these?

Done some googling, looks like it's RJ's new line of stuff. E-cigarette, dissolvables/nicotine gum, and "smokeless pouches".

I think they are pretty much Camel snus with a different name. If you can believe it, they are even drier than Camel. The dissolvables aren't terrible though. Kind of like a minty Werther's original. Lot of nicotine in them.

Pretty similar in that I can't even tell if it has any nicotine. They had another type of pouch also. I might pick it up tomorrow.

I wish just one US mfg. could get snus right....or that real snus would be available in every US store that sells tobaker.

How is the taste of the viceroy pouches??? Would you buy again if you did not have anything else??

Kinda like a subdued Camel Frost. Way too dry and way too sweet. I'd use it before Camel and marlboro but that's about it. The other pouches are Revel brand, the same as the dissolvables. Might try then and see if they are any better.

For lack of a better word, I guess so. The tobacco is the driest I've ever seen with the exception of cigarette tobacco.

I ended up doing a bit of research on this and I guess RJ Reynolds is coming out with these, e cigs, and dissolvables for NRT. Guess that means these aren't meant to be enjoyed, considering these are supposed to be a stepping stone in getting off of tobacco and nicotine altogether, which I think more than likely explains the unattractive packaging as well. This is really interesting though in that regard. I will also agree with some of the above posters in saying that I would really like to see a high quality, Swedish-like snus, made in the USA, to hit the market. At least there'd be something good at your local corner store to count on, in between orders at the very least.

                              Indeed.....
Hell I wish General would offer their full line in these cigar shops.
                              Instead of 9mg portions only...
