    Caffeine+nicotine

A lot of us associate that first coffee of the day with our first snus
For me, this happens after a good workout and breakfast

    http://www.killthecan.org/robs/cafnic.asp

Basically, when I use snus, I notcied I drink a lot more coffee. I always wondered why. I always figured that the two stimualnts would work together. But nicotine weakens caffeine's effects. Very surprising for me. I guess it increases acute effects, but you crash earlier in the day

For me, nicotine heightens the effect of caffeine. I get much more sensitive. When I snus (a lot), I can barely drink two cups a day without feeling jittery and strange.

I've always enjoyed coffee. When i quit the cigs and went on patches ages ago coffee didn't taste as good and didn't give me very good effects. On snus i am fine with coffee.

Same as Ansel, I have noticed no difference is my coffee intake since switching to snus.

I was never a huge coffee guy. I get a cup now and then. At work after I've had a huge pepsi and then go and get another one if i throw a strong snus in like thunder orange i get an incredibly relaxed sensation that comes over me. Not a nicotine buzz but like my state of mind has just been incredibly altered.

Same. I feel that nicotine and coffee go great together

But I think that the caffeine metabolizes very quickly
Meaning, the caffeine hits you really hard, really fast. But then I am reaching for the next cup a lot quicker. I also feel that the stimulation that cofee provided usally lasted till about 9, and then I crashed. Nowdays, I have more coffee and seem to crash in the early evening, around 6

Then again, that is from personal expereince

I founde another link. I willpost it if I can find it. your rate of burning calories increases by around 10% when using both soft stimulants in conjunction

EDIT: I use yerba mate ininstead of coffee these days. Smoother longer lasting, calmer buzz with not crash

Caffeine plus nicotine equal pure bliss for me, same with alcohol. They may reduce the effects, but I love the feeling of those things together.

Caffeine and nicotine make me very happy

You may notice with this 'purified' snus that you get nicotine only not other MAOIs or alkaloids present in tobacco.

I heard many years ago nicotine had a negative effect on caffeine but I never knew how, nice find topdog82, the alcohol effecting nicotine is an interesting bit too.

I think I'm going to order some of this it's certainly worth a try

What is the upside and downside to this? A cleaner buzz? I thought the maoi's were antidepressant part of the nicotine buzz?
