Long portions?

Why aren't long portions more popular?

I usually just pick up cans from my local gas station which only has general and a couple of variations

I tried my freinds' long portion for the first time. It take discreet to a whole new level! Same nicotine, and it sits snugly in my mouth. Much better than normal sized/shaped portions

Long portions are ok. I think the problem I have with them is they take more time to evenly distribute throughout the portion unlike normal sized portions. Since the long portions are thin its very hard to get that tobacco broken up throughout the portion (I ended up just having to fold them in half and use it that way with all the thunder chrome line). I think regular portions are discreet. Everyone I work with is shocked to realize I've had these little bags of tobacco in my mouth throughout every conversation with them.

Long portions are the future IMO. Way more comfortable to me. Give it a while and I'm pretty sure all regular portions will be replaced with long.

I respectfully disagree.

I would say its more like "give it a while and they will quit making them". I don't believe they are that popular. I know a distributor that sell a ton of snus and of all the snus he sells maybe .01% of long portions.....seriously.

I actually tend to agree with LordJ in some instances. I don't know if they would totally replace regular portions, though. I do think, however, that as more average Joes pick up snusing, this would be the way to go for many of them, for the simple fact that they are so discreet. I think this is something most of your average folk is looking for.

I've been doing longs almost exclusively for a few weeks. When I pop in a regular now it feels huge. I'm a fan.

Yeah I went from General ES Portions to the long version and there's no going back. Plus they somehow have even more nic, so to me its a no-brainer.

seriously. my friend handed me a pouch, I had forgot my can at home. I noticed that it had a different feel. It fit better in my mouth. But tasted very low quality/dippy. I soon found out it was the camel snus and spit it out...ewww

The point of mentioning this, was that camel has caught on to the newer, more comfort-fitting design, yet general hasn't (in the sense that they don't distribute them here)
