General Mint and Odens Cold question

Hey guys sorry to start a thread about this but no one answered my question in the What's in your mouth thread so I figured I'd post it here. My question is regarding the Odens Extreme Cold OP. I tried a portion for the first time 2 days ago and although the taste was very good (just like the regular cold that I love) it didn't knock me on my ass or give me a rush or anything. In fact I felt like I could pop in a regular portion right after words even though I didn't. I was worried about trying strong or extra strong snus as I had only done the original strength and minis but after this I'm pretty sure I have nothing to worry about. The question is do you guys think this is just me and I have a high tolerance for nicotine? I'm pretty confused by this but I use about 10-12 regular strength portions a day so I figured at 22mg of nicotine in one shot I'd feel something lol.

General Mint question is easy. This is my everyday snus but has only been that way for about 2 months. In the last 3 weeks or so I have been noticing that the portions are opening in my mouth but not always. I have heard the Wintergreen was a culprit of this flaw but never the mint and I can't pop them open in my hand it's only after they have been in my mouth a while. A few flakes of the tobacco are released into my mouth here and there not enough for me to spit out the portion immediately but enough to be really annoying. When I take the portion out it's as though a corner has been split and opened slightly. Is this normal with General Mint or do I have some duds, or is it simply because I am being to rough with my portions. Thanks for any and all help.

P.S. All of the General Mint tins are from the same shipment.

In regards to the extreme. As I've stated b4 the extreme does a real good job of releasing nicotine in a slow matter. It will not hit you as fast as other starks ie general and skruff but will las much longer. To me an extreme portion is a good 2 hr use for me......whereas other starks are mor 1 hr snus as the nic hit is much quicker and runs out faster......

That's right I forgot you mentioned that. I didn't notice any flavor after about 45 minutes but who knows.

I haven't especially heard of General mint coming apart, but it wouldn't surprise me. Mint has alcohol(menthol) in it, and I think that's what softens seals; same as the wintergreen.

General mint is my normal go to snus when I don't have anything better from pp. It seems to me that lately, I have to agree with you on them breaking open. But I also have these guys in for up to 3 hours.

I have been unfortunate that I have only had Odens wintergreen. And sadly I don't like wintergreen snus.

Actually I hate wintergreen snus. My store ran out of mint so I had to get wintergreen. I think from the whole tin I used 6 portions over 3 days which is like a tenth of what I normally would use.

+1 I found the Gen WG almost nauseating, not too crazy about mint either.

I like gen mint and thunder. I think PP gave me the Odens wintergreen. I think it wasn't as bad as general as I finished it off but man gen wintergreen and nauseating is putting it lightly.

I've went through about 4 rolls of the Odens cold since it came out so I consider myself an authority. I like General Mint just fine but it's not in the same league as Cold.
