I came back to see if any of us selected had gotten our snus samples and what the Flaors were. Thought it would be fun but I guess it's just around the corner now Any day now I mean. I'm doing nasty headache again and I read the last 4 pages to see about the samples and i feel close to throwing up. Disturbing. My squatter renters downstairs are dust rubbing enough. Wanted a nice little visit. Oh well. Take with grain of salt and remind myself I always feel better after I get sick. I think I'll check back after I've gotten my sample in a few days. If I like it or not. It's fun and participating is an honor. I think I have good taste too? But it's all so subjective what people like or are looking for. I'll give a big opinion about one thing for sure and that's consistency. I KNOW taste changes. My tastes in things. I simply get tired of one or I just get in the mood for something different. What I don't like today I might love next year. You can't please everybody but if your consistent producing the same product and each pri is predictably the same as the next ( or portion) then you have a winner so long as it gets bought and re ordered regularly whether I like it or not. I put this all here because I spent a while trying to read the last four pages with my headache so I deserve to post at least for all that sadness. And I THINK I must pick up my sample from the post office tomorrow. Left one of those slips. I won't try it until my headache is gone tough..so I can give it an honest try. Also. I have portion snus I like but here is what happens. One portion is like I like it and it's really good. My favorite actually out of 6 I've tried but then I get one that's just bad and twice as salty. Is this me? Or is this something at happenstance. With portions? I only have Los. This is my only portions snus. If this is what happens sometimes with portions snus I really don't want to use them. I'm thinking the machine keeps packing a portion from the snus that's settled down and the salty fine stuff maybe and it gets used but shouldn't be.. .?

I find them to taste along the lines of the thunder test series from a few years back have to give them some more time to make up my mind how I will review the individual flavours for Jimmy and the crew at Jak's

Received three test tins today. I agree, one that I'm trying now reminds me of Thunder before they went insane with the moisture! The one that's in now reminds me of SM's 06. It's fresh... nothing beats fresh snus... long lasting classic snus flavor. Can't wait to try the others. BTW, I hate Ice Fruit; however, I love Jak's Wintergreen... it's in my daily rotation.

I have yet to try 152...

549 tastes like 06 to me; and,
247 tastes like N&J Red Chili.

Update: Just tried 152... IMO, it's slightly milder than 549. Of the three, I'd say 549 is the strongest (flavor+nic) followed by 152 which I find somewhat smoother.

There's a heat thing going on in 247... maybe some hints of raw cinnamon?

Tried the 152 tonight. First thoughts were very mild straight tobacco flavor with hints of earth and oak. Hard to pinpoint much but I also had the same problem with click which is the closest I can compare it with. To me it is close to Jaks but with less citrus. I am also not a sterk user and had a Jaks mint in for the first time in years and definately felt the nic. I would be surprised if this one is any stronger then 11mg.

If there is a chili element in this one it would probably be undetectable from me since I use a lot of sauce regularly.
