37 Gram Loose is here

I couldn't believe it when I looked on northerner, Thunder, Phantom and Megapole loose are ALL 37 grams now!

WTF is going on ? Snusline are still doing 40 gram cans, but I guess when the stock runs out they will also be 37 grams. I’d like to see the price go UP, and they fill the cans back to 50 grams, how it was when I started many years ago

I just wish they'd not chosen this path to go down. It means we can't keep a track of the tax rises as easily as if they'd kept the cans at 50g and just raised prices.

At this rate we'll be getting snus in single portion foil wrappers soon :-(

Soon loose will be 30g (it's only 7g away now), and the can size will be the same size as Poschl Chema - Or, it's going to end up like Makla with 8g, 20g and 25g cans. When it hits 30grams, i'm done with it all...... it's all bullshit. Put the bloody price UP and fill the cans

I'd rather see the content remain the same and pay the extra too, it just seems sneaky to keep dropping the amount in a can and charging the same - especially while keeping the container size the same. I've seen it with many grocery items over the years as well and it would drive me nuts.

Very true many grocery items have SHRUNK to complete with others.
Think about little debbie snack cakes.
As a kid the oatmeal cream pies where 6 inch diameter now half that with raised prise....
Sucks however its been going on for years.

Think of those tiny snus cans that are on mr. Snuff.....

They are 25g a d its chewing tobacco not technically Snus ;-) also take the weights on Mr snuff with a pinch of salt, they say the small WoS tins are 5g when they are actually 7g.

It's not just loose. Many of the new portion snus are now 20 instead of the standard 24 portions, and the portions are not a full gram. I believe SM is the only maker who still has 24 portions in all of there cans. With V2, Odens, and Gotlands, many of the new flavors go with 20. We are getting a lot less and paying more.
