Will the nicotine buzz come back?

I quit snus for about 2 months and recently I have been back at it. It just makes life better

But after quitting, I packed 1 small pouch and my head was spinning. The kind of chop that I had packed 5-6 of a day

My friend who is a cig smoker, smoked one of fav cigs after 3 years of quitting. No buzz at all

    So my question is:
Is nicotine tolerance permanent? A lot of studies seem to suggest so. But I experienced the opposite?

This is purely for curiosity's sake

After 20+ years of smoking I still had the buzz after the first morning cigarette. I even deliberately delayed morning smoking to increase the effect.

So at least for me the tolerance is not permanent.

When i was smoking a morning cig still gave me a rush. Snus never has really... apart from extra starks giving me the jitters which wasnt anyware near a nice as a morning cig. Same goes with E-Cigs.

There is the option of vaping WTA (whole tobacco alkaloids) in an ecig which some say gives you the morning cig feeling but there is very little in the way of studies into it.

Unfortunately, snus will never give you the cig peak. On the other hand, it provides better overall satisfaction. Only slower.

And yeah I used to delay the morning snus sometimes as well. I have a hunch it cud b purely ssatisfying withdrawal symPtoms

I think so too, snus is longer lasting and mellower, but it delivers. I have seen the graph above before, but just noticed the snus is 2 g. I wonder what the typical less than 1 g portion would look like.

In most nicotine addicts, not all but most there are permanent changes in the brain to receive nicotine (Royal College if Physicians)

If you haven't seen this report it's worth a read in its entirety. It is long though.

Hmmm... I quit for a month or two, then, out of curiosity, tried one. Nic hics! I had to take it out after 10 minutes.
