Howdy folks. Quick question. The wife and I love Jak's Melon. We use that and THnder Frost Long+ exclusively. I see Olde Ving Melon listed pretty damn cheap on Snus Central. I am about to make an order to take advantage of the V2 sale, but I need to restock our melon as well. How does Old Ving Melon stand up to Jak's melon. Are they similar? Don't want to order multiple rolls and have it be drastically different. Thanks.

I think @Skell18 may be able to help with that info...he loves the stuff. I like Jak's Melon too.....and I ordered 2 cans in my last order a couple days ago, just so I could try it before I buy a roll. But if the smoothness of flavor is anything like Olde Ving 99, I'm pretty sure I'll like the melon as well.

The ving melon is awesome! However it is not sweet like the jaks, not sweet at all, it has a natural tartness of melon, thats it, plus good ole tobaccy. Its nothing like the jaks, its better, the melon flavour isn't as pronounced as the jaks either, its very subtle and natural.
If you like the jaks no reason you won't like the ving, but if you like jaks because its sweet, the ving may disapoint. However I think the jaks is too sweet, ving is perfect!Comment

Thanks. Not sure I like the Jak's because its sweet. I like it because I like the melon flavor and it stays smooth for as long as I keep it in, it does not turn bitter on me the way some portions do. The Jaks melon has some OBVIOUS sweetener in it,not terrible but not as good as could be IMHO.
OLDE VING melon,
To me is a all day snus, I.E. the melin is very tasty,and after a long time
(2 hours +) during this time the tobacco can be tasted.... seems to me Old Ving melon is flavored snus,the Jaks melon could have no tobacco in the snus and wouldnt affect the taste.
So to me
Jaks melon good for every now and then.
Olde Ving Melon is a all day snus.
I want to know what artificial sweetener is used in Jaks melon? Anyone know? Also is this sweet taste also in the Fläder??Comment
