Does snus pick up other flavors/smells easily? Storage question.

Suppose you have an open can of snus in the fridge. And suppose some person leaves an open container of Chinese food in there overnight. Are you going to be enjoying Szechuan Shrimp flavored snus in the morning?

In your experience, does snus pick up flavors or smells from other stuff or other snus? What about storing lots of open cans of different kinds of snus in the same Ziploc bag? Would the flavors blend at all?

Not in the fridge, for reasonable amounts of time, but for long term storage, I'd bag it. Keep like flavors together. Flavors will migrate in the same bag, so your Ettan may taste like mint if you put it in with mint snus.

I've always bagged my snus in the fridge and or freezer. I have had multiple opened cans in the same bag that were different flavors and there was no mixing of flavor at all. Around the holidays I did have an opened can of Julesnus in a bag and the whole bag smelled like that crap but it didn't affect the flavor of any of the other opened cans. God I hated that snus, that and and offroad cola were the most disgusting I've tried.

I had an opened can of ettan sitting in my freezer for a month or so, ran out of my regular skruf so I was forced to use it (don't care for ettan) and it had taken on the flavor of the food in there. Was pretty nasty, needless to say I got rid of it quick.

From my experience, this hasn't been the case. I put all sorts of different brands/flavors in one ziplock bag and have yet to have any problems.

I used to put my offroad and thunder coola in cans of ettan so they flavors mixed a bit to drown out atleast a little bit of the disgusting taste.

I don't see how everyone hates julesnus. I love the stuff....are we talking about the kind in the blue/white can with the christmas decoration or the red can? I love the blue/white can cant think who the manufacturer is. The los was a great cinnamon gingerish mellow taste.

I don't think Julesnus was horrible, just something I don't see myself ordering again. Kinda bland for my taste.

I thought the nordsstrommen julesnus was very gross but i think i had portions from the year before on it that i picked up from someone on here. The Got's jule snus was probably my favorite for awhile when i first started using snus. When i figured out the christmas decorations and what julesnus meant i freaked out realizing it wasn't always available. But after that i settled in to the normal brands and flavors when its not christmas time.
