I just picked up 5 cans of general white for $0.99 each in Jacksonville, NC

Down in SC we had that special running for a few months. Many a tins of General were purchased :P
I live right on the border. What was the name of the place you bought them at? I'd love to stock up some more!

I just emptied the General fridge in my local gas station of all white and mint portions. I left the wintergreen though. 25 cans for a little over $25. I'm set for a while...

The sale is long gone here as well but it really is nice knowing I can get gas and a can of snus at the same time.

I'm just hoping all these gas stations which have it don't stop carrying it in the near future due to lack of sales. The lady behind the counter didn't even know how to open the fridge at first; she said she hasn't sold a single one yet. It certainly doesn't help they have the fridge fairly well hidden. It'll be quite saddening if Swedish Match snus fails in the US.

I used to feel the same, but have changed my mind. I would rather Swedish snus remain relatively unknown and unpopular here. This is America, home of the Meddling Do-Gooder, the Lying Sensationalist Journalist, and the Ban and Tax Everything! Politician. The less they know about it, the better. And don't forget American Tobacco companies willing to help them and fund a crusade against it to protect their cigarette profits. That's the American Way.

No, I'm happy if Swedish snus stays Swedish.


That said, the native tobacco shops in Nevada have General for $3.xx a can last I checked.

Found it for 99cents at a mobil near my parents house. Got the last original can and a wintergreen to try. They had lots of the coffin tins but I hate that stuff. Told them they need to restock!!
