Dodge get's a bad rap because of their lower end vehicles that end up as fleet vehicles. Then someone probably with bad credit get's stuck into one and it's shit. No different then the ford fusion around 2006. We actually nick named it the con-Fusion where I worked, now it's the best reviewed compact car there is. Anyway I hope you enjoy the optima. I've been banging the Hyundai/Kia drum for awhile as I took in and evaluated a lot of trades in the mid to latter 2000's and could see that they were not only eclipsing domestics but the Japanese. One last thing is make sure you talk with the lien holder on their payment policies if you want to get a couple payments ahead. Usually without setting some terms they won't do that on a simple interest loan at least not automatically without setting something up. Otherwise anything you pay extra will just go towards the principle which isn't a bad thing as it will lessen your interest costs down the road. Just figured you should be aware of that.....

As far as the loan amount. It is 0% interest. When i paid the 70 extra last month they said my next bill would be 70 less than what i agreed to pay every month so i guess I'll just have to wait and see what they do once I have more than a month in extra payments. I was kind of hoping it would just lower the cost by a few cents everytime I did that so maybe I could make one huge payment and have it be like 250 or so a month from then on but it looks like it is just kept as reserve, which is fine. It's just experimenting with what they do it's not a major concern.

I want an Elio! I will probably have to wait until my kid moves our or gets his own car. It only seats 2.
