I am past the wanting to pretend smoke something or take anything into my lungs, it was easy to a point with snuff but snus got me over the hurdle, I have no plans on ever going back to inhaling anything other than the air around me.
I felt the same way skelly and if I was straight inhaling vapor I wouldn't be doing it but my vaping experience is liken to that of puffing on a pipe and although small amounts are going into my lungs most is going through my mouth and nose. I have had breathing problems since I was a little kid and constantly wheezed when I smoked. Once I realized how to vape comfortably it became enjoyable and and I haven't had any problems with breathing although it has only been a month, cigarettes caused me problems from day one. I don't feel like I will ever give up snus but vaping compliments it very well and DIY ejuice is like an art. I really have gotten into that and you know exactly what you are putting into your body because you are putting the ingredients together yourself and those things also have exactly what their ingredients are listed. In the long run putting flavors into your lungs (not so much for me), nose and mouth may not be a great idea but PG and VG have been used by the medical industry for at least 20 years in inhalants so it's pretty similar minus the fact you're adding flavors but those are made up of PG as well. It comes down to the person but for me snus is a pretty expensive way to get my nicotine as I often don't have hundreds of dollars to spend at once. DIY vaping is cheap as hell and a I can make a 30ml bottle of ejuice myself for about a buck or 2 that will last me about 2-3 weeks. For someone that has very little money to spend on anything this is a HUGE plus. Not arguing just telling you why I am doing it.
