    Unsealed cans...Normal?

    Hello everyone :]

Just wondering if cans of Gotlandssnus, Kicks, and Roots snus are packaged without being sealed?

It just seems odd to me...Maybe cause I'm American and we're all paranoid and everything has to be packaged and sealed before we buy it, but I much prefer the sealed cans, like Gothiatek provides.

So is that normal for those brands, or are Northerner employees taking pinches of my snus before they ship it to me?

just kidding about that accusation btw :]

No it's normal. No stickers/pop-up lid/securi-seal or anything  Swedes don't steal anything anyways, mate, it's not in their character. Seriously, go there sometime - they just leave bicycles in the street not even locked up. I'm sure your snus is fine 8)

Oh crud...so there is a possibility that my snus could go bad in the mail?

...hardly. It ships very quickly and if you get it from any decent place they ship very fresh snus.

Yes, Gotlands cans are not sealed but the lid is fairly airtight.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Gotlands cans are the best around IMO. I did pause the first time I got one and it was unsealed...never got ill so that's just the way they are. They all should be like that, in fact I transfer just about all of my los to a Gotlands can. Never had a lid inadvertently pop off of one of those either just wish it were a catch lid.

i have an old Gotlands loose can i cleaned up. when i open a can of my everyday general es loose i dump it out of the paper can into the Gotlands loose can. i use it out of the the old Gotlands loose can because it seals so well. i have been reusing the same Gotlands can for over a year and it still seals. no kidding they make their cans that good. the can still seals as good today as the day i started using it.
