I never bother counting. I just buy the strong stuff now and make my prillas to suit my needs at the time. A tin seems to last quite awhile now, over a week, but I've been the recipient of cheap dip from relatives visiting the US. Once that's gone the snus won't last quite as long. I may have to count the number of prillas when that time comes.
I have no idea how many prillas, but a can of loose lasts about three days for me, and I take a pretty massive amount every time (I think 2-3 grams). I leave loose in for a longer time than portions though.
My uncle goes through two cans of General Loose or General Ekstra Sterk Loose a day though, so in comparison I'm a big wimp, lol.
I think v2 and Odens is 40g per can? How much is Swedish match and skruf etc?
Your best bet is to look online. They're all different, but most hover around 40g. Gringo is 50g, and I highly recommend it. Great snus, good price, and a proper 50g tin.
Edit:
To put things in perspective price wise... If we acknowledge a tin of snus is supposed to be 50g, every 5g taken from a tin is one less tin per roll. IOW, with 45g tins, you only get 9 tins per roll. 40g? That's 8 tins per roll, and so on...
cant find on the net, but how many grams of snus is in 1click in a icetool?
From the thread I linked above, someone came up with 900mg. The first click is bigger than the rest, so two clicks should be less than 2g. It's variable depending on moisture and compaction, so it should only be considered a rough guideline.
I've been very low on cash lately and have been buying cheap loose cigarette tobacco to roll, as well as some cheap 99 cent cans of dip. A couple weeks...
