    How long should this last?

Well at some point the law in where I live must've changed as Northerner won't ship here, not that I use Northerner.

So I ordered I nice big order and was wondering for others, how long would 51 cans last you?

It's 4 rolls of portions, 8 cans of Los, and 3 cans of portions I've never tried.

If I were to get 51 cans of lös, it would last about 25 weeks.

Reason I wonder is because I recently went to my local store that sells General and the owner said enjoy it while it lasts cause they're not going to carry it much longer.

I am not going to lie, its been a while since my last order and I feel like a kid waiting on Santa.

My whole order are things I haven't tried yet, feels like when I first joined this forum and ordered my first few cans. Sad part is, that order was Lucky Strike, Onyx, and Gotlands Gul, all brands that no longer are an option.

Anyways, I am hoping this order will hold me until the beginning of next year.

            A can of los lasts me 3 1/2 - 4 days

so that is 25.5 weeks (right at what Lx said)

By the way...........good to see ya back up and posting mate. I hope all is well

Also, did you happen to ask the guy why he won't be carrying General much longer? I would be curious to hear what he said the reason was.
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Hey Snusdog, and it feels good to be back. I have a tendency to bounce in and out of here as I am sure you have seen, but I always come home to the first forum I ever joined.

He said that it was not selling much. He said myself and one other guy are the only ones that really buy it. When he first got it I bought him out of the 10 cans of General White portion, General OG portions hurt my stomach, and someone else bought him out of the Mint and Coffin can brown ones, forget what those are called.

I always bought from him because I could use coupons and he had a whole stack of get a can for a dollar and always gave me those when I would buy. I have my fingers crossed that it doesn't go away but that is just what I heard.

Here dip reigns supreme and most do not care for the salty and sometimes bitter snus, but I did convert a couple of friends. They still dip but they snus while at work so hopefully that will send some business his way.

Another thing is he only orders when he runs out so most of the snus, though not as fresh as snuscentral or buysnus, is within a month or two before the expiration, but the bad part is if he does stop carrying it I will be forced to drive 45 mins to buy some and they are usually a month or two past the expiration date and that is because they keep bulk in the back unrefrigerated.

Hopefully I can just keep a good stock on hand and build up just in case the worst happens but it takes me some time to save up enough money to justify the $35 shipping charge for overseas.

If he drops it, maybe he can special order for you. I used to do that with rolling tobacco. There was a store about a half hour away, but the drive was pleasant, so I didn't mind. I'd phone in an order once a month, them pick it up when I got to it. They had it bagged up for me, and I'd pay and take it. The shop gets money, and you get tobacco. Everyone wins.

Ive thought of that because I was actually going to ask him today about ordering General Los if it was an option. He always shows me the new beer lists and asks what he should order. This gas station has a better beer selection than the liquor stores around here.

Also, can someone point me in the direction of this new law in GA about online tobacco sales? All I can find is about not allowing the purchase of cigarettes online. My friend still orders from Thompson cigar co and receives his products, just curious why Northerner thinks it cannot sale to me.

Georgia might be a tax issue. If there's no mechanism to collect and pay taxes, you might not be able to buy online.

Grim...I see on the northerner site that Georgia doesn't come up on any of their dropdown lists. I'm pretty sure you already know that but might I suggest that you contact them and ask why. It could be as simple as an error when imputing the info when updating the site on the back end. An its VERY possible that they don't even realize the omission....of care to fit it.

Its worth giving it a shot to find out what the problem actually is....and possibly get it working again.

                        good luck

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I got the response I thought I would get, nothing, lol.

They just replied that the online sell of tobacco is against the law in those states, but they did not answer the question about when or if they were sure. Like I said, I have googled everything I can and there is nothing about that happening here. Makes me wonder though if mail order for snus would come to be if this occurred all over. Isnt that how certain other businesses get around stuff like that? But either way, I am still clueless as to when this change happened and if it really did happen at all.

I must use a lot of snus...

51 cans would last me about 3 months. Maybe.

Hey, nice to see someone else from Georgia! Anyway, I noticed that northerner would not ship to ga although my grandfather also gets regular shipments from Thompson cigar as well.

I bypassed this by ordering from snus central, they are ahipping to me today and I was able to get onyx ! More than one way to skin a cat I suppose
