I haven't tried the Absolut yet. I did try Hooch Fire and it was pretty darn tasty but it still does not feel like snus.
Basically information please

Originally posted by GoVeganIts a term used to describe shipping costs after the tobacco PACT act passed. For example, I needed to order some snus the other day so I had to "dip" deep into my wallet to pay for shipping. Its also a term used to describe chewing tobacco especially the kind placed into your lower lip like Skoal or Copenhagen.

There is a interesting review about Oliver Twist tobacco. A positive one:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...g-tobacco.html
And there is a negative one:
While not a snus, these would seem closely related, as they are smokeless, spitless tobacco products that are made in Europe.
I happened upon a tobacco store that was selling these next to my house. I had seen them advertised on several different snus websites, and the owner kept talking about how difficult they were to get (these were the US flavors, not the European ones). I decided to grab a pack of Original, since that is one of the same flavors that is available in Europe, and it appears to be the exact same thing.
I opened the somewhat expensive little box, and inside was a vacuum sealed pouch that had what looked like tiny, brown, shiny tic-tacs in it. I opened the pouch, and took a wiff. My first impression is that it smells like an odd beef jerky. When I got a closer look at them, I was suprised to see that it looks like small bits of beef jerky as well.
The package said to tuck it between your cheek and gum, and leave it there. I did that, and could not taste anything, even after 15 minutes or so. I then read the webpage, and it said you could chew it to get the nicotine faster and have more flavor. I chewed it a bit, and this strange, thick sugary-jerky-tobacco taste ran down the back of my throat. Not quite unpleasant, but strange. I chewed it until the twisted bit of tobacco came a bit open, and tucked it back against my cheek. They also said on the website to leave them in for an hour, as they continue to give off nicotine.
I have not really felt much of a nicotine satisfaction from it, and in fact, after about an hour I had to immediately take it out and pop in a sterk portion. The website says that it is a rolled up tobacco leave that is then sugared, twisted and then cut into the small bits. It also claims that there is no added nicotine, so it maintains its natural levels. If this is true, I can see why I am not getting much of a nic hit from it, since it would only be a small fraction of a tobacco leaf (maybe the equivelent of 3 or 4 puffs from a cig worth of tobacco). If it is not raised for maximum nicotine yield (like I believe the sterk snus are), then it would be lacking.
These really don't seem satisfying at all, the taste is a bit off (and mine was well in date) and they don't really even have much of a nicotine punch. They are also fairly expensive, costing more than most cans of snus. About the only positive I can say is that these truly are discreet. They sit inside your mouth with no noticeable bulge in your cheek, require no spitting and would appear to be candy to someone not specifically looking for it. That's about the only reason I could suggest these. Other than that, if you have no reason to need to be discreet in your tobacco use, I suggest to avoid.

These are some of the pictures of gum and teeth disease allegedly caused by using snus and skoal in the long run. What do you think about that?

I should add that after almost a year of chain snusing my teeth are cleaner than ever, very little plaque, no need for the expensive whitening strip I used when smoking.

Has someone experienced the lack of apetite
caused by enjoying snus?I heard something about special snus in order to get slimer but from time I started regulary enjoying snus and Oliver Twist's pellets I had noticed that I had no more apetite like I used to.Before I had been looking forward with a passion to every meal. Now I'm looking forward to every portion of snus instead...

To answer your first question, skoal and copenhagen are American tobacco that resemble los,but most of them are of a much longer cut. They require spitting and heavy use puts you at risk for cancer. Americans call them "dip," which I believe GoVegan already mentioned.
Also, snusing on an empty stomach can drive away your appetite. However, when I snus on a full stomach it seems to settle the meal down nicely. That might just be me.
