I'm hoping to get it, I went to buysnus and it's says not available in us, but snuscentral allowed me to add it to the cart so hopefully it will ship to me!

Stock up mate, stock up, before they realise they messed up!Originally posted by Burnsey View PostI got a roll from SC, no problem.
At least you didn't have to get onto a plane, fly to Sweden, find a shop that sells it, then fly back home to get yours

Well, after years of snus use... I recommend taking advantage of the buysnus sale and getting as many rolls of Grov and Ettan portions as you can to get your costs down. Then learn to use a good tobacco flavor snus. Get a roll of Ettan los, too.
All those flavors you listed sound so good as a newbie.... but few will be " the one". Feel free to learn this the hard way.Last edited by whalen; 02-10-13, 01:01 AM.wiki "Popcorn Sutton" a true COOT!

I'm already understanding that, I already prefer general original, today was my first day using general mint all day and I now realize that I'm going to do better with flavored snus as an occasional thing and not an all time deal, with that said I can get general close to home so I'm going to get tons of different stuff on this order just to try and see what I think. From all the descriptions of them online I'm thinking ettan might be the one, but we shall see.Originally posted by whalen View PostWell, after years of snus use... That's pretty accurate. 90% of my daily snus use is is bergamot or plain. The rest is a bit of "something else". I'd try everything to see what's out there, but most settle on the classics.Originally posted by whalen View PostWell, after years of snus use... I might replace the thunder frosted ES with thunder frosted minis, sometimes that big 16 mg of nicotine can be a little much for a new user. The minis are 8mg.

Well, I made my order! The payment verification system wouldn't approve my purchase at first which confused me, but then I called my bank and found out that since it was an overseas transaction they froze my card! Got that sorted then everything went smoothly!
I had to remove some things for monetary reasons, but I still got a good selection and perhaps I'll find the one I want to stick with and maybe next time I can make a bigger order to stock up and try some other things, but for now I got what I feel to be a good "sampler"
I ended up with
- 02 strong portion
- ettan loose
- ettan portion
- ettan white
- general licorice
- general ekstra sterk
- grovsnus portion
- goteborgs rape
- goteborgs rape lingon
- olde ving fudge
- roda lacket loose
- roda lacket white portion
- skruff strong
- thunder frosted longer plus
As I said, I had to take a few off that I wanted, but this should be a good starter and should last me a few months, next time I'll have a bit more to spend and will get the other items suggested in this post and some others that sounded good to me, that shipping just kills me though I wish there was a way around that! Perhaps also next time I will have someone to go in with me and split the shopping cost which leads me to a funny story, the guy who got me started on snus gave me a camel winterchill and that was my first snus, he used that because he didn't know any better, but once I got on this site and realized what snus actually was I have him one of my general portions and told him where they were sold locally and ever since he has been using nothing but genral!

Whoo hooo! My snus shipped! It's in Germany now, how cool is that? Anyway it should be to me by Wednesday since I paid the extra Dollar for express shipping! I'm getting excited now.

It was so easy at one time to order all kinds of snus from local (US) shops, cheap. Learning what you like is that way, takes time. Shame that shipping and now just basic snus costs are getting prohibitive. I rotate all day between 5 snus, Ettan, Grov is my main, General, and always start the day with Ving 99. Then whatever I have around, Roda, Melon, Rape, ect.
Los at night and I am always tempted by a new flavor, but a roll of anything untried is usually a disaster, and single cans are the most expensive snus of all. It is a rough tough world facing a beginning snusser now a days. And Remember, the good old days I pine away for were just 4 years ago.
Spend your time and money now honing your tastes, but as you get a better feel for what you like, keep in mind that once or twice a year they make some killer deals available and you need to take full advantage of them to build up a cushion of snus. Snus availability and price are going to be a sketchy thing in the very near future IMHO.Last edited by whalen; 08-10-13, 09:02 PM.wiki "Popcorn Sutton" a true COOT!

Well, I got my order and after staring at my cans for about 30 minutes trying to figure out where to start I decided to go with grov first and I must say, I am really enjoying it! It reminds me of general original but without the massive dose of salt, I'm definitely liking this one so far. I also kept out my general ekstra sterk for in he morning and my ettan Los which I will try tomorrow night.
To the above poster, I will try the fudge next and let you know how that goes.

From Swedish Match, and from their updated One Series, here we have ONE Blå White Portion.
The snus comes in white portions containing 1g snus per portion and each can 22g snus in total. The portions are arranged in an attractive star formation in the can and have a slightly wedged shape (like General Onyx) to them making them a comfortable fit under the lip. The can is blue in colour and the artwork gold and white featuring the One Series branding. Upon opening the...-
